Show him/her your PV and explain. Better yet take printed out info. If they haven't already heard about, they will be very interested. So far the majority of them approve.
I have to go in for a procedure next week and I plan on taking my pv a bottle of juice and a printout of information I've acquired since I started. When they as if I smoke I'm proudly going to say nope I vape.
I may get a lashing for it and I may not but one thing I think we'll all be able to agree on is it's a better answer than saying, yes I still smoke.

I told mine Id stopped smoking but was still using nicotine - I did explain a bit bbout the PV but she wasnt bothered just happy that no more smoking lol. She did say to watch levels of LDL (I think it was LDL mightve been HDL) as nic can affect those adversely.

I tell my doctors that I quit in January. Since nicotine is no worse than caffeine, I don't brooch the subject.
