You want a carto they are just a tube, banting/wick and a heating element. I use my clearos CE 5's and my ego C type b because that is what I find easier plus they are rebuildable. The cartos are hard to clean but they are cheap and if worse comes to worse you toss it. In a pinch if you have a tank you can just fill the atty that is in the core of the tank and use it with out the tank. I have a piece of silicon tubing I slide over the punched hole(s).

I use ce3's for testing sample and trial size juices. These are perfect for this. I don't drip (l won't go into it.), and I was using fresh cartomizers at first to try new flavors. The problem is a cartomizer is a one time deal -- it must be thrown away after the test because you don't want to mix another flavor in it and they are too difficult to to clean and the effort is not worth it. That's pretty wasteful and not economical.

The ce3 is the perfect size. You can find them with a capacity of 0.5ml to 1.0ml. You only need about 1 ml of juice to know if you are going to like it.

These are re-usable. Filled with a tiny blunt needle and syringe, any unused juice can be withdrawn the innards rinsed with water. Refill with the next flavor. There's no polyfiller like a cartomizer has to possibly taint the flavor. There are newer models coming on the scene that don't require a needle to fill them.

These are inexpensive. You should be able to find these for way less than $10 for a 5-pack.

As with all attachments, make certain when you order them you are getting the correct threading for your battery.

I looked and looked for a solution to the same question. Tried cartos, stardust, vivi novas, regular atomizers. All had drawbacks. A dear friend gave me an HH 357 atomizer to try out and it is fabulous for taste testing. Great pure flavor and when you go to the next, just blow it out from the bottom and wipe it out witha paper towel and its ready for the next one. very rarely do I get any flavor creep when changing flavors. Even at $22 bucks I would buy one just for taste testing, it works that good.

I use Vision 2.8 ohm bridgeless atomizers for this purpose. They're affordable (for atties, at $7.99 each), and seem to be durable and decent quality. to clean them, drop them in just-boiled water, let sit 5 minutes, drop into Everclear (or 10o+ proof vodka) for 5 minutes, dry off more or less and "dry burn a little at a time until the colils glow clean and red. Repeat once if they're really gunked up.

If you prefer you can blow off the Everclear and just use just the water.

Not a fan of atty dripping, but personally I think every vaper should have one in their arsenal especially if you DIY your own ejuice. Dip a few drops and vape, just rinse and dry burn when you want to switch flavors.

Phoenix Rebuildable Atomizer - Clone

If you want 100% clean flavor, perhaps you want to get one of these pyrex oil burners...yes...I'm serious. Already purchased one on Ebay to use as a 'backup' in case of a blackout.

I've tried dripping a few times, and I can't seem to get it right. I get an odd flavor the first hit, maybe get a good hit or 2, then more odd flavor even though I get a ton of vapor. I've tried a couple of addy's and figured its not for me. I guess I'll just try new flavors in a carto, or maybe buy a couple of mini Nova's just for testing. I got 12 new flavors from 3 places, and thats gonna be a pita though. I do have a Phoenix coming in this week, so maybe that will work better.

I hear that Doogmar. I don't think I'm very good at dripping/attys either. Never seems to taste right...and then there's the dry hits...noooooooo...that hurts. I now have around 30 Boge cartos filled with different flavours. A little expensive, considering I only like about 5 of them, but I use them to let people I'm trying to convert taste the different flavours. ;)

cartomizers are just garbage for testing juices, regardless of it being mini sized ones or not....as for the rebuildables, i've heard nothing but bad things about the pheonix, however the DID and clones have performed well....and i love my penelope, though you really couldn't classify the penelope as a drip atty, that's why i suggested the i306 or the HH .357, the HH being a bit expensive, but an absolute rock of an atomizer....just works, works well, and when you want it to
