Ok so i've been vaping for a while and decided to start making my own juice to save money. I'm a high VG man myself but am curious what grade is recommend of VG and PG. USP, food grade, organic? Any info will help thank you!
I've always used food grade VG from a reputable supplier. All of the suppliers that I patronize are at least a Registered supplier on the forum or preferably a forum supplier. Get your prelim posts in and look at the suppliers forums for a supplier.
Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!
For all things DIY head on over to the DIY ELiquid Forum. You will not be able to post there until you get in your first 5 posts. Make sure to read all the "stickies". Also check out the blogs by ECF members Hoosier & dannyv45.
It's my understanding that USP is the purest grade for PG/VG/nicotine. Usually most sites (like Wizard Labs, who I'll highly recommend) that cater to DIY sell USP ingredients. I wouldn't turn down food grade though.
USP for sure. You get pick some up at your local pharmacy but the stuff you'll get at wizard labs will produce a much cleaner vape. I'd pick up a larger amount of pg nic base--store in glass in the back of your freezer and then buy smaller amounts of VG as needed.
