Some of my juices are best with a 1.8 ohm and 3.3 volts (Joyce C upgrade regulated.) Others are better with the same atty set to unregulated 3.5-3.7 volts. Two are better with 1.8 ohms and 3.7 regulated volts One I have is better with 2.2 or 2.5 ohms at 4.5 and 4.8 volts respectively with my Spinner. Obviously, I can't pick just one but I have lots of Joye C upgrades and 3.7 ego regulated but just one Spinner if that says anything.

Depends on what I am using. Using an Itaste MVP2 with Iclear30 I set to 4.7 with a 1.8 ohms coil. I take that same tank and put it on my Itaste VTR and I set it to 3.9. If I set my VTR to 4.7 then everything is hot and tastes burnt to me. So I think every tank and battery setup is different as to what one likes. So I believe everyone just has to play around and find that magic setting for themselves.

What voltage do you guys vape on? I am vaping on a voltage anywhere from 4.8-5.8 on a 1.6 ohm coil what do you guys have your device set at?

Thats VERY dangerous and Im surprised that your coils arent dying after a few puffs.

The reason its dangerous is because low resistance atomizers (1.7 to 2.0) were originally designed to be used at 4.2 volts with early e-cig batteries like the 808, 910, 801 and Ego batteries that couldnt go any higher.

Youre setting up a situation where your battery is discharging at an unsafe rate and it could cause catastrophic failure.

Think of your battery as water from the tap and an atomizer as the faucet. Low resistance atomizers are akin to turning the faucet wide open (hence the low resistance part) the more wide open it is the faster the battery drains and the larger the potential for an accident.

18650 batteries were designed for use by law enforcement and other emergency services personnel in flashlights that required a steady trickle of power spread out over a long period of time. They werent meant to discharge that rapidly.

Your battery life using that setup has to suck as well. I use 3ohms on an 18650 battery in my Provari at 5.2 volts and get 10-12 hours out of it.

I hope at the very least youre using a mod with vape-safe fuse or built-in protection.

Im still trying to understand the best volts/watts for specific ohms. I have an Itaste V3 and can adjust both independently. Ive seen that excel spreadsheet that shows best voltage for ohms and it says the watts on the inside. but my itaste doesnt go lower then like 7 so the chart is gibberish to me.

Could someone help explain

WHAT? Im running an Ego twist with a kanger mini 2.5 ohm coil. If I crank it above 3.6, I get a mouthful of burnt vape. Currently Im vaping MBV Cotton Candy 80pg/20vg. Any suggestions?

In my limited experience, that can be typical of factory coils. I wouldn't sweat it if you're satisfied with the vape. ;)

The chart as written is set up primarily for variable voltage devices. If your device bottoms out at 7 watts and you want to go lower, you'll have to switch over to variable voltage mode.

For example, if you have a 2-ohm coil and want to vape at 6.5 watts, you'll have to bump the voltage down to 3.6 volts.
