Sitting down, facing forward.
So far, I've only seen the "new" bases for the T3 series from Kanger. They may or may not thread onto and work on an X2 or Spinner. I haven't tried that yet.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied. Proceed at your own risk.

Yeah these are new bases that have replaceable heads so you don't have to replace the whole base and head. I remember someone trying them but cant recall if they required an adapter.

Unfortunately you still need an adapter. The battery post on the X2 sticks up too far to fit with any of the Kanger eGo threaded clearos except the T2. All they would have to do is make the threaded base a little longer for it to work.

I only use CE3s on my X2s, because I like the bottom coil clearos and I got tired of having to fiddle with the wicks on the original T3s.

I meant the SI/Volt Spinner. The threads seem the same as an X2 from casual inspection.

And there is no issue with the height of the battery post like with some other ego delivery devices when trying to use them on big Volt batteries??? Seems people are saying two different things. Hmmmmmmm

I've had varying success with Kanger T3's on X2/Spinners. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes they don't even thread on. It's sort of and indeterminate situation, you don't know until you try. I will say that I've had no problems with the Kanger T2 threading onto either of them.

If you hold an ego battery and an X2 together, you can see that the post on the X2 sticks up farther. Sometimes I can get an X2 to thread into a T3 a little, but it won’t screw all the way in like it’s supposed to. If you screw it in too hard, you can short out the battery or push the post down too far. I’ve done exactly that. You’re better off using an adapter or just using the right battery.

I do have to agree, JR. An adapter is the best way to go and I have a large collection of 808/various, but in a pinch....

Thanks for the confirmation. I just didn’t want people reading this to think it made sense to buy a new T3S to use with an X2 battery without an adapter.
