This is really kind of dumb, but I was watching the Johnny Depp movie "The Tourist" and there was a scene of him smoking an e-cig on a train. I'd never even seen an e-cig before, so I was intrigued. I knew I wanted to quit already, but seeing an e-cig gave me the motivation to actually take action. It also didn't help that I was smoking while laying down one day and almost lit a blanket on fire. That's when I took a look at myself and was like, "What the heck are you doing?!"

I was aware of PVs and was wondering where to get one locally. It was a Sunday morning, I was perusing the local Sunday paper, and lo and behold, a local smoke shop was advertising the Njoy DuoPro for about $35. That afternoon I bought the kit. At least I didn't get took that bad, LOL. A little while later I found ECF. That's when I really started finding out about the ins and outs of vaping and vaping devices. I soon moved up to an eGo and a 5V PT.

I was buying two packs of camel lights at a gas station that happened to have a 21st century smoke disposable on the counter. I bought it for my wife but she wasn't interested so I ended up trying it and haven't smoked since. Took about another three weeks to get my wife vaping but we have both been analog free for a little over ten months. I should break even on my initial outlay in another seven to eight years :)

The ol lady and I decided that when our Newports ran out we were gonna quit smoking. I was a little scared because we had tried to quit before and did not succeed... but the day we ran out, I decided to Google "e-cigarettes" just to see how expensive they were. I started reading here and on other sites about how good they are and how they helped so many others to quit smoking... so I decided that we were gonna grab a kit off the web... but my ol lady told me that she sells kits at her store. So we went and picked one up on our way to get my nipple pierced. Haven't touched a cigarette since that day.

I was sitting in class waiting for the day to be over so I could get an analog. Then I drove to vapure(smoking the entire way)and, bought my ego. Sat at home vaping IN THE HOUSE next to my wife while she stared at me like I was crazy(I was smiling the entire time).

LOL Oddly enough I was actually shopping for an E-Cig :D And I found the one that got me off of analogs :D

Are you coming up to E-Cig City on the 12th for the Vape Meet in Laguna Beach? If you went to Vapure I know you must live near me :D
