I was wondering if the ejuice gets banned will the suppliers stop selling the batteries and atomisers? Or will they just sell Nic free liquid? And shoudl we be stocking up?

Each vaper needs to start thinking of ways to "Supply Ourselves". We need to start thinking about refurbishing or making our own gear, as well as learning how to make our own liquid. Hording will work for some for a little while, but eventually that will be gone too. God only knows how long this will last. We need to start preparing now.

I hope I can still get the parts. There are flavorings at Whole Foods that are mostly VG. I have vaped them straight with no mixing. I guess I could wear a nic patch and vape them if worse came to worse.

I am already dissecting old atomizers to formulate a way to refurbish them. Trial & error is a .....!8-o

Personally i'm seriously trying to get on the road to nonicland.

I made the mistake of ordering some 36mg on my last order. Damn, i jus thad to try it, i've got it now so will use it up. Previously i had been blending down 18mg 50/50 and not vaping too much more than i am now with 50/50 36mg/vg. Each order from here on in i will be going down a grade each time and still mix it. I've spent a day on a 0 nic mix and it was no where near as bad as when i'd run ot of analogs.

If a ban does come i'd like to be able to say ok, it was good run, now i need to deal with it.
I can make my own battery boxes and usb devices but it is the atomizers that i haven't gotten figured out yet. I know there is better guys than me out there working on this issue too. Hopefully one of us will come up with a viable alternative or refurbish method.

I am not too worried. Yes, shipments are getting held back from time to time.. but that is usually the fault of the shipping company using the wrong HS code. If things crack down the way that everyone is worried about, you wouldn't see wallmart, wallgreens, target, costco, and other major companies taking the time to stock them, sign papers, negotiate prices, etc.

My best advice is this: Don't get too worked up in the logistics. We are dealing with importing on a daily/weekly basis, and we will know what is going on first. There is a lot of speculation in the News, so take it from the people who are actually living it. There is a scare out there, but the shipments are still coming through. I am not going to sweat it until any and all shipments start getting seized.

I think the liquid is more likely to be a "hotspot" than the vaporizers in a commercial sense. To me, it seems easier to make my own eliquid than the hardware though.

This dependence on Chinese products is a real bottleneck. I won't feel comfortable until some US manufacturers start making small vaporizers like we are used to.
