I don't think they would ban the hardware but if they did a decent engineer would be able to make atomizers if given one as a template to work from. They would simply make the parts themselves I would imagine. The most likely ban would be the the carts and juice I would imagine as this is the fuel but you can make your own and keep our old carts and just replace the filler when needed. So I think it would be possible to continue vaping but it would be a lot more difficult, and obviously a lot less popular!!

If they banned anything they would ban the juice. Most likely they would regulate it and tax the hell out of it first. Google just banned my ppc advertising today.

I suppose my main worry would not be so much a ban on attys, but rather manufacturers ceasing to make them becasue the market drop after a ban would not make it cost effective. I know there would be folks making them in their garages, but the price would go up, I imagine, because there'd be no bulk manufacture.
I suppose if the market were big enough, there'd always be people willing to manufacture, even from back rooms. But how many people vape? There's obviously enough to keep them manufacturing in China now, but after a ban, would the market revert to analogue cigs, or would demand keep the manufacturers pumping them out?

A ban is not something I seriously have to worry about in the US. I could buy pot, hard drugs, or automatic weapons within 15 minutes of my house, so I am sure I would be able to find vaping materials as well regardless of any "ban".:2cool:

Absolutely true... but the real question is how would that affect the current market prices...
