What wire came with my DUD?

I've been having all kinds of trouble with my DUD. Just can't get it to produce any decent amount of vapor. And since I can't possibly blame myself I'm trying to figure out what wire came with it.

I know I'm not using the mesh that was included (325, and I'm using 400). Do you know if all the original kits included the same wire, or were they added by the vendors?

Or, maybe, someone could divine which one I have, if my wick just fits into the standard wick hole, and I have 2.2 ohm resistance from 3.5 coils of wire on it

Where in MI are you? There is a guy at Mister-E's that is a geek when it comes to rba's that might help, or if you're by me I could try. Also, what voltage are you running at?

Running on a 3.7-4.2v, just a straight 18650

when i got my "Dud", it came with nichrome wire. I'm not sure if some vendors swap out the wire, but i believe it comes from the manufacturer with nichrome...

Best way to tell is with a magnet. Kanthal is magnetic. Nichrome isn't.

I still had the little baggy of coil wire from my Griffin & it seems nichrome(non magnetic). Seems around 32ish AWG. Man that stuffs stiff!, compared to A1 Kanthal.
