What would you do about this frustration with a vendor?

We not want your business in fact we make it a point to screw over lofty UK customers

Hoping there's a smile in there somewhere ;)

Have ordered from the states a few times with no problems, the only real trouble is with our customs, they seem to hold on to US stuff for a little while. Then you get a bill for Duty and delivery.

Ok, well now that you outed the vendor let's see what there is to see.

First, there's the Deals & Steals info:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/418767-deals-steals-27.html#post10342411

That info was put up by Hairball - not the vendor - most likely from an e-mail subscription. And it was put up there on August 9th. The sale ended August 9th. So it appears you ordered on the last day of a "huge eliquid sale" covering their entire liquids line at 50% off.

It says right there on their sight that liquid "Usually ships within 2-3 business days". Not usually would be when any place holds a 50% off sale. More not usually is when not only do the e-mail subscribers know about the sale, but through the generosity of the Steals & Deals forum people who don't subscribe to that vendor's e-mail list know about it too. Extra not usually would be placing your order on the last day of a 50% off sale - order are processed first in first out, last in last out.

So four days beyond their normal stated shipping policy, ordering from a half off sale, and ordering on the last day of the sale, you decide you don't like it. The response to your complaint to Vapure was to expedite your order. Technically true - not what you asked for on the ticket. But also technically true - you placed an order so you did want it seven days before you filed the complaint. And also true - they were only four days out of bounds of their stated shipping policy when you filed the ticket and they completed your order.

You could have also checked for negative reviews before or after you placed your order. I did - and found only three. Two in 2011 and the last one was over 15 months ago.

So yeah, I do think a slam was a bit off the mark on this one.

I agree with this.

And,, I don't know who this vendor is you bought your juice from but most people are just trying to run a business. If you think its easy to keep 100% of the people happy 100% of the time, especially after running a sale then don't ever open your own business..Its impossible to do, stuff happens..Just my 2 cents.

That's exactly why I am not ready to order anything from US vendors yet.

I haven't ordered any e-juice from the US.....but only because it will be confiscated by the nasty Canadian customs people if it has nicotine in it.
However I sure would love to order some of their e-juice and there is never any problem with anything other than nic-juice. It's pretty easy to check out a vendor in any country using the internet.

If it were me, I'd probably just let it go this time but I might not order from them again (unless part of the order was juice that turns out to be heavenly). I've had to wait longer than that from order to shipping for juice but at least I got updates through the process. I've also had to deal with a great vendor who was responsive and shipped quickly but their local post office held onto my package for an unreasonably long time with no explanation (probably making sure it wasn't contraband). A vendor who is completely non-responsive worries me though, making me wonder if there could be even bigger issues down the line, and that would be one that I might choose not to do business with.

Ah - I wrote this before I read Rickajho's response. He's absolutely right. A lot of juice companies (especially some of the better ones) are very small and family run (or by just one person). When they are overwhelmed (either with a big sale or sometimes even in the case of a family emergency), it can make them too busy working to fulfill orders as quickly as possible (or dealing with their family emergency) to reply to email and/or even temporarily take them out of business completely for a short period of time. IMHO, that's understandable and I wouldn't hold it against them.

Have you considered ordering 0 nic juice, then adding in some nic that you got in Canada? Should be a fairly straightforward mix, that is if you can get nic up there in Canada (no idea)

Thanks LeoRex, you can get nic in Canada, but I'm lazy, I just want to buy it and vape it, however I am slowly reducing my nicotine, so then I should be good to order what ever I want. :)

Because "you" was used I will respond. I have and do run my own business and I go by stated company policy as stated in my post #41 above.

For me I go through a lot of different juice to find the ones that make into the daily rotation:unsure:
I vaped a lot of good one's that I may reorder one day but are not ones that I want on hand all the time
with those that might be a factor depending how much I like it
If it's a real winner of a juice that I want around all the time
Then I will always still order

It is really hard to find the great taste I don't get sick of sick far there's one:toast:
there are a few others I have that are real good and work but would like to find better
Now if there is inconsistency with the quality of the juice that's different:facepalm:

But most of the juice I like Is made to order and needs time to steep anyway so a few extra days would not bother me:)
