Hi, I'm really sick to death of having mods die on me or start faulting within a space of a couple months.

I've had 2 Aug vapes foxy ones that both decided to not read my tanks. I've had inkon kroma R that the gravity style battery door got stopped connecting and it was never the same.

I did have a pico as well which to be fair lasted a year before it stopped liking batteries.

I just wana know what in your experience is the most reliable mod brand /ideally a single 21700.

I use the same mod day in and day out and its vital I have something reliable even if its a bit more expensive.

No offense, but it sounds like you may be a bit 'hard' on your mods. With that said and done though, two of the mods I regularly use are an Armor 'regulated mech' and a Cold Steel 100. Both are single battery regulated mods and use 21700 batteries and also accept 20700 batteries and have 'size caps' for 18650 bats. Both have 'screw in/out' battery caps. I got both of them from FastTech a few years ago and I am having no 'physical or other' issues wilth either of them.

Here are pics of them that might give you idea of what they look like.

So I do go hard but only due to the fact that I only use one mod 90% of the time. Interesting ive been looking at the armour and heard its strong. But how is it in terms of faults? Is the battery door system okay? Any issues reading tanks since you've used it.

    Lovely looking mods BTW.

Thanks. Neither of those mods have a battery 'door', but rather a threaded 'cap'. The Armor has only one button, for firing and 3 or 5 clicks for on/off. I have had no problems using it with any of my 3 or 4 tanks. Also, it only has one LED (no screen at all) that has a color range from green to yellow to I think red that indicates battery level. I'm just assuming red but I haven't run a battery that low.. The ranges are Green = 100% to 70%, Yellow = 69 or 70% to 30%, Red? = 29 or 30% to I assume 1%, and 0% = No Led..

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

User induced. I and many others who vape chinese mods under $70 don't have this problem. Why you then? Buy an expensive DNA mod and see if that works better for you. I can't recommend any as I never owned one.

Probably because the majority of vapers have about ten difftent mods they use daily. Personally I stopped vaping to save money but that's just me.

Clearly the Aug Vape has an issue with reading attys I've had three of them come to think of it not two and all three have had the same thing.

And the kroma R battery door went funny. I don't know why it's me but these are faults noting to do with the way I'm using the mods.

I like the Kroma R a lot (and have two in rotation), but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I was concerned with the battery door. I don't like that design and too many mods have it today.

On the other hand, the Innokin Z80 has a screw cap, and that's as reliable as they come. Fantastic mods (and I've got a "few" to compare).

I'm actually a major subscriber to quantity in the case of mods over quality unless we're talking quality to the extent that there is a lifetime warranty or at least a lifetime agreement of sending a mod in to be fixed and that's not something you're going to find often or even remotely cheaply. There was a couple companies that do have some sort of lifetime guarantee or at least a lifetime servicing one of them is out of business and the other one I don't know that much about the quality of their warranties. But I do know that it takes months to get one of those mods and they run starting at $350 and I'm not even sure if that was new. Anyhow that's beside the point I think it might be better for you to find a bunch of low end mods and just purchase a handful of them. That way if they have a defect you don't have to worry about it you have another one even better a couple different kinds. That's just my personal opinion I've been pretty fortunate with my mods probably because I don't use them for very long and I don't leave the house with any of my mods I only leave the house with pods And even in that realm I've been lucky other than the one that I literally accidentally poured water on I have Good luck as far as them going bad.

There's always also the option depending on your experience level and your knowledge level of getting a mechanical tube mech. There's not much to break and what has broken can be fixed fairly easily in the majority of cases. But I'm not going to recommend one because I don't know what your level is I don't know if that would even be something desirable but I don't think it's a bad idea for people to have one even if they don't use it Just kind of future proof
