Hi all.....not a big forum guy and pretty new to vaping. This specific forum site helped me a lot before my purchase and I am quite happy with what I bought from suggestions and info. So, information first and then a question or two.

I actually started vaping as a goof. My wife bought a gas station one; I tried it, I read about vaping and bought something within about a day. Originally, my plan was just to smoke in bars and hopefully a fake cough from someone and really had no intentions to quit smoking. Here I am after being a PAD smoker for 24 years and I havent had a stinky for a week. I bought the SI Pro Starter kit first. I loved it, I then bought two more batteries, and more cartos and some juice but let it steep. After that, I bought the X2 bat, a few clearomizers and more juice along with some other "nick nacks".

I would be lying if I said that I am excited about the clearomizers though; I dont think I would really be too in to the mods becuase I dont really want to tinker with anything. Additionally, I think I may have screwed up by getting the X2 bat in auto. I know that people may disagree and hell, I may too after I get my newest order (haven't actually got my clearomizers yet) but I am happy so far with what I have been doing.

So here are questions:

1. What is the best and easiest way to refill cartos? I refilled 5 yesterday for the first time and one seemed to dry out pretty quickly. As a novice, I thought I didnt put enough in so I went back and added more nicquid to all of them and after a half hour, thought maybe there should be more and did more. I am super-concerned about ruining the bats (78mm auto-sealed), I went through and cleaned everything after refilling (they were off the bats too). I also tried putting it in the cap-ee thing and letting it wick but that seemed messy and I got a puddle in the cap (sure I did that wrong)

2. Any tips for the clearomizers and an auto X2 bat? I have a feeling I am really going to mess that one up.

Sorry for the ramble.......

Oh, and one other good question.....................I really wish that there was more juice to order on SI. At this point, I have tried everything on the site. I like the cappuccino, grape, RY4, watermelon and cherry is ok. everything else was just eh to me. I am trying to avoid going to ape ..... wild until my taste buds return but if anyone can suggest a good website to find juice (I wouldn't think of asking for flavor suggestions). I just want a place that won't rip me off, that has a decent selection and that ships fast

Drummer, check out my videos on YouTube. There is one that teaches how to fill a carto along with videos on the SI clearos. Have you tried the ce3 from them, it has tons of vapor and awesome flavor?

If you don't like the auto x2, they will exchange it for a manual one, just call or email them.

Here's a link to my video on filling the cartos.

Here is my YouTube channel. Most of my videos deal with SI products since that's what I use. They are not reviews, more of "how to" videos. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC26Cs_xBdH-qswIi7qKE7BQ/videos

For good juice at decent prices. I recommend Vapedudes. They have lots of flavors,
Let you add extra flavoring, adjust the pg/vg ratio.

There are two coupons that are really good too. The first is FBFREE,, which gives you a free 10ml bottle of juice, no purchase necessary. The other is VAPEDUDES and will get you 40% off. You can use both coupons on the same order. If you combine the coupons with the 5 bottle special they have, you can get six 10ml bottles for $18 with shipping,

One thing about the free coupon, the only accept 15 a day, so if it doesn't work, try the next day

@Mr. Outlaw.....ha! your video on Volt was the nail in the coffin (in a good way) that pushed my first purchase. Why they arent paying you is beyond me. I will check out the vid out in a second.

I didn't get the CE3 over the Clearomizers because they were out of stock and I am impatient but I will likely go that way at some point for a try. I still think that I may just stick with the cartos and refills for the least amount of effort. I never rolled analogs or tried a pipe for the same reason.

I am going to make my way through what I have with the SI juice (I have 2/3 30ml RY4, a new bottle coming, a new cappuccino 30ml and about 25 unused cartos before buying but I will try the two sites next for juice.

Still, any tricks on the Clearomizers (filling, leaking or etc) that I should be aware of?

Will the X3 auto not work at all, not reccommended at all or just a wait and see thing with the clearomizers as well?

The auto x2 works well, I just prefer the manual x2 and the auto 78mm. I was just saying that if you get your auto x2 and don't like it, they will exchange it.

I make the videos as a PIF. I don't want to get paid for them or free products to make them. I enjoy making them and helping people avoid what I went through. I spent a lot of money and time before I found the SI line. Trying to figure out how to do things was the most frustrating. Especially because I didn't find ECF until 2 months after I started vaping.

You will be surprised at how easy the ce3 are to fill and the difference in the vapor. I know they are out of stock right now, but SI said they are on the way and should be in by next week.

For the clearos, they are pretty straight forward. Here's a couple of tips though.

Make sure the metal ring that the drip tip screws into is seated all the way down. Do this by turning it upside down in a hard surface (with drip tip removed) and gently push down with a hard surface in the bottom (like a book. I use my remote control). Don't fill past the 1.4ml line. I found that filling it past there can cause it to overwick and leak more.

Other than that, just dill by dripping juice into the top with the drip tip removed. Try to avoid dripping juice into the center air tube

You will need to have 15 posts before you can add a banner. Then just go to settings and click on edit my signature, and paste the bb code there. Good choice on getting the Volts and X2. I want some of those ce3s too. :2cool: And I agree, mroutlaws vids are very helpful - I watched a bunch of them when I was deciding what to get that wasn't overpriced or flaky.

I sent an email, asking for a ticket, over the weekend, and got an answer first thing Monday morning. I've always found Customer Service super-helpful over there, and very prompt. (Sadly, I've had two X2s in a row crap out for no apparent reason. I'm afraid that nice Heather now thinks I'm some sort of crazed battery abuser.)

Anyhow, I really like SI stuff quite a lot - in spite of the X2 issue - and I'm sure you'll like them too.

Good luck, New Comrade. :)

My local shop is selling the Kanger T2. I had had mixed luck with the, but after a month have discovered not to crank them down on the battery too tightly and don't let them go below 1/2 empty or a thicker juice will turn dark and have a burnt taste. I am still new to this and want to learn all I can as well. Vaping??? Isn't it great!!!

Is it true that the clearos only last for two weeks?

how do you know they are done and isnt that a little pricey for disposable?

Which clearos? The vision ones? No, that's not true. They last longer than that, usually about 3-4 weeks if that's all you use. You can clean and dry burn them too. I still have some that are about 2 months old. They have had at least 20-30ml run through them each.

Remember, all of the juice delivery systems are disposable, they are made that way. Personally, I think that although the manufacturers are switching to rebuildable, they are not making them as durable. In my experience with them, the replaceable heads do not last as long as the old ones (-again, just my opinion and experience). This way, you keep buying new heads.

They may be disposable, but think about it in terms of how much you spent on analogs. My outlook has always been this. If a carto, clearo or ce3 lasts me 2 weeks , I got my money's worth. Think about it. I was a 1 1/2 PAD smoker. Every ml I vape is equal to about 6-8 analogs worth of puffs. So to get 1 1/2 packs, I figure about 4ml. So over a week, I will use about 30ml of juice, going rate 40-50cents a ml on the high side ($15). Let's say a clearo only lasts 2 weeks (which it lasts longer) that is $5.50 after coupon. So over two weeks, 1 clearo used exclusively and 60ml of juice is about $36 on the high side. I was spending $120-$130 over two weeks on analogs.

Now, I acutally always get my juice with coupons or DIY. When I DIY, it costs me about 6 cents a ml. With coupons for juice, I pay about 35cents. I also get about a month or more on my ce3 and clearos.

See where I'm going with this. Don't worry, the clearos last longer than two weeks, but even if they don't, you got your money's worth compared to analogs

I bought the SI clearos and the description said 2 weeks.......I, too think about cost versus analogs. Pre filled cartos cost less than smokes. Either way, thanks for the help

The descriptions always under estimate no matter what company it is, at least in my experience. But yes,it says 2-3 weeks of average use, used exclusively. You will use more than one at a time, I'm sure. So it will last a lot longer. I'm not sure what they consider average use, but I'm sure it's at least 2ml a day since the average vaper vapes 2-3ml a day. If you clean and dry burn them once in a while, you will extend the life too
