so ya 10 % is just to much lol the more i vape it the more that black coffee is kicking in. I think if you just used whole beans and gave them a little crushing into smaller pieces ( not ground to dust) it would make it much easier to work with and filter better. the flavor would still extract very well. agreed that FA is just special. hard to beat something already perfected.
Yeah, I tossed my mix in the crock pot for a few hours last night. Just gave it a try, it's not too bad, lol. It's just so different from the FA Espresso that I've gotten used to. I may have to try a blend of the two. I could see getting some fresh ground fancy coffee and making something really nice.

Cool thread wllmc:)

just bored wondering what everyone is working on. or have you been stuck on the same mix for 3 yrs because its so good :p Ive been playing with different "pie" and "cobbler" vapes with various fruits. cherry, apple , peach. did a few coffee ones recently that came out pretty good. anyways again just bored no real reason for this other than something different than the usual questions here, "what flavor" "how much". more fun and less informative lol. the DIY crowd is always so serious :vapor::toast:

^^I agree!
My philosophy is if you make a juice that tastes like blueberry muffins, you have done okay. If, however, you make a juice that transports you to a kitchen with fogged windows and your mother pulling fresh blueberry muffins out of a hot oven... you have succeeded. It isn't just the flavor, it is what it evokes. That may sound sappy as hell, but I've found that adopting this mindset has vastly improved the juice I make.

^^That right there blew my mind. Love it:)

vienna cream is on its way in a postal truck somewhere. cant wait. raspberry cheesecake yum thats sounding so good right now. think ill give it a whirl today. please update when you try it :) ...... sweet tarts ugh. lol. I tried tfa sweet and tart awhile back. I must have used to much. tasted like chewable baby aspirin to me. ....... lol me and the wifey watched a cops marathon last night hahaha. we are so boring :p

I'm just starting to think about creating cheesecake recipes since I love eating it plain or with any kind of fruit on top :drools: Hope it transfers well to a vape!

Let me give credit - where credit is due - for this excellent method of making homemade coffee flavoring.

Read Post #7 of this thread -->> http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/239733-coffee-flavor.html Thanks JimiD !

This thread is where I discovered this idea. I have used it several times, and posted my own versions several times. I do not lay claim to originating it. But, I sure have got a lot of good use out of it.

Some grocery stores have the small sample packs of grounds for about a buck-fifty. They are good. My favorite is to get whole beans and grind them myself to get the very freshest flavors.

Walmart has their own brand of Columbian (purple background can) for about $3.50. Since this is my daily drink of choice, I use these grounds and like them probably best.

I tried that with VG instead of PG and it does work:) Tasted ok too. Funny thing for me though, I've ended up deciding that I prefer to drink a good cup of coffee instead of vaping it. I drink way toooooo much coffee lol. Maybe that's why I tired of it in a vape.

I'm mixing more of a strawberry cheesecake that I picked up here on an older post that's all CAP flavors...made a 3ml of it earlier in the week and it's all gone. It got creamier and less sugary as the week went on, but I still didn't get 'cheesecake' from it...maybe a larger batch will steep longer (cause I didn't have the patience) and get cheesier or it could use some TPA cheesecake/graham. Very nice sweet creamy strawberry even tho...

And I got supplies in to go for carrot cake with cream cheese frosting this week too...see what I can do with that...

Maybe it's just me, IDK, but I like vaping coffee with my real coffee.

Must be a Sue thing...I LOVE coffee but I have less interest in vaping it. It's fun adding my DYI flavors to my coffee tho...CAP coconut coffee is yummy!! Carrot cake coffee? Bet there's a forum for that somewhere in the big world of web... :?:

On my regular laptop...not enuff screen on a tablet, my poor eyes ain't what the used to be! Could be vape film on my glasses...thought they'd stay cleaner when I quit cigs, just the opposite!

still wanting to try the carrot cake .mmmmmm

Bakery down the road that made our carrot wedding cake does it with a gingerbread type base...thinking NF carrot cake, Cap gingerbread, LA cream cheese icing...have no idea on percents tho, never tried NF flavorings before, but they had the carrot, no one else did except healthcabin. Have to start with the carrot alone, see what it does..
