Oh, and I have really heavy arms that just kind of chill and lay low on my sides so I walk kind of slunched and when I have my shirt off I just look like a caveman ready to sock you. I actually see it in myself now after years of being called caveman. One time I was in a Stop n' shop getting some things and some little old lady jumped back and said "Oh god, you look like a pit-bull"....people just say random sh-- about me all the time....I'm almost 6' tall and she calls me a pit-bull....whatever, I'll take it as a compliment.

LMAO - I should, but I'm not, I am up hamming to Rush, lmao
I knew I liked you! I've been fortunate enough to see them 4 times live. Rush was the first concert my husband took me to when we started dating. Unfortunately for him the 2nd row center stage seats set a pretty high standard he now has to live up to.

Saw these in Wally World the other day and thought of you Taki!

Crazyinariz is because I love living in Arizona. It's 1150pm and the temperature is down to 100f. People say I'm crazy because I think the 70's are chilly and wear thermals when the temperature drops into the 60's. 100-110f is perfect weather to me.

I lived in Tucson for a couple years and I know exactly how you feel. In September when the nighttime temps got to the 60s, I would sometimes wear a hoodie. Then sun comes up and back to 110F. Desert weather is weird.

I'm not old enough to lay claim to have really enjoyed RUSH when they were up and coming, but my Uncle (graduated HS in 1984) was my personal "loan service" when it came to music so I got my fair share of Rush, Jethro Tull, Moody Blues, and BOC. Chronicles (1990) was the first album I purchased personally - my interest in "new Rush" was short-lived... I think Counterparts was the last album I bought.

My nieces have called me Merbear from the beginning, as my first name (Meredee) was unwieldy for them... And I was never "aunt ..." Now the whole fam calls me that. My license plate is Merber, as Merbear was taken. Someone once thought it read 'more beer' hahahaha, he must have had a few!
I've loved reading all the stories, and the cat/dog stories too :)

Dude, if you have an uncle that graduated in ’84, you are a babe

Old Rush is definitely what I prefer as well even though I was not old enough to enjoy it the first time around either. Chronicles is a great album. Vapor Trails is great for the newer stuff IMHO.
