A little white vinegar works wonders for cutting through that crud in the bottom of your ashtrays. Let it soak for an hour or so, and it wipes right off. A little pungent, but wash it in soapy water, and the smell dissipates pretty quickly.

My car has no ashtray. I never have smoked in this car. Didn't want it to end up stinking like my last one.

Dirt and a few COPYRIGHTDMCA from my last rock crawling trip (have a Jeep Wrangler LJ).
The ashtray tips out from the front of the dashboard and I clip a cellphone holder pouch there now. Since I never open the ashtray now.
A dime, a 510 cart, a dead 306 batt, a paperclip, a J hook lockpick and a a little bit of rust. I have a really big drivers ashtray. (I drive a 78 DeVille)
Change for the stupid toll roads here, and as of now, a coupla empty cartos that I forgot to throw out.

I still smoke, I´m having a hard time just vaping... it still has cigarette butts.
I put my e-cig in it, perfect fit doesn't get lost, easy to reach, no need to take my eyes off the road because I know where it is.
Coins, empty cartridges I haven't collected yet, a Bic lighter, and a small wrench (to tighten the battery connections).
