I am sure they only use quality steel for your mod, and just skimp on $8000 + pieces of tooling for a company which places $millions in orders per year...
Like I said, be sure to let me know when you have something other than allegations and some claims about tooling companies. I'll listen.

Plain and simple, 1 button, 3 buttons or 50, buttons are outdated. We now have touch screens. I bet an airline pilot would love one button to control the plain. In terms of tech, even a brand new computer is outdated by the time it hits store shelves as new tech is being developed daily. Lets put technology aside for now. Lets not worry about the number of buttons. Do you want a Provari? If you said yes, it's worth the money. If the answer is no, it's not. Ferraris are overpriced IMO, but people still buy them. Why? Because they want one. That alone makes it worth the money for them.
I'm going to buy a DNA board and put it in the least sturdy of all containers, an altoids tin. Heresy, I know, but that's what I want. I'll still have my provari handy.
As has been said, no one mod is right for everyone. Along that same line, for many vapers, there isn't one perfect mod to fit all their needs, therefor, many vapers own several devices, each one fitting one vaping style. I may want to vape a mech and dripper one day, a regulated mod at low wattage the next, and the day after a regulated mod at 200 watts. That's the magic of variety.
At the end of the day, if I enjoy what I'm vaping, it's the best mod out there, and definitely worth the price.

*eats popcorn*
This has become such an entertaining thread...
I love how VapoJoe is trying to come across as wise, and benevolent, but just keeps looking foolish and petty.

And the others who keep arguing back, keep looking insane.

A definition of insanity: doing the same thing, the same way, over and over, expecting different results.

Sorry...not trying to fuel the fire, but this is just too much fun to watch.

HAS ANYONE CONSIDERED THAT MAYBE THE "OP" WAS JUST TROLLING TO BEGIN WITH?

I'm enjoying this thread as much as anybody, I promise you. [emoji16]

By the way, I can be incredibly petty, but I'm no fool

I'm probably going to brutalized for this but I'm going to go ahead and say that while YES the Provari (current version) is built like a tank, it is painfully outdated in terms of features. Most notable IMO is either the lack of variable wattage or the archaic single-button user interface and accompanying 7-segment display. If you ask me, the money would be better spent on a Vapor Shark rDNA 30, a very well-built, $190, adjustable from 7-30 watt mod with a beautiful design and interface. Edit to include the fact that the rDNA 30 uses DC to DC voltage regulation instead of pulse width modulation (so the output waveforms look even better than those of a Provari) if you care about that type of thing.

This is my original response to the OP (posted on page two of this thread). Everything I said there still rings true. IMO the Vapor Shark over the Provari is a no-brainer.

I was just referring to the fact that you spent so much time trying to tear down a one button mod, but then so much more energy defending YOUR one button mod...which also has nowhere near the reputation of a Provari...

But really, I don't want to get into a string of replies with you.
I'm just here, watching from the sidelines!

Go on now, everyone, as you were!

The seven-30 is technically a 3 button mod if you consider the two gyroscopic position switches buttons [emoji6]

There are switchs and buttons they perform very differently
They serve the same overall purpose. To provide a unique electrical point of contact. Also, a "push-button switch" is a real term in electronics which shouldn't exist according to your post [emoji16]

Edit to drop some more knowledge. Buttons can behave exactly like switches from a technical standpoint using "seal-in" circuits. Switches can also be wired to behave just like buttons using a "one-shot" circuit.
