I'm currently using a Phoenix clone as well, seriously great vape.

I've tried everything listed above and hands down the best dripping atty I've tried is the fatty v2. It's a fog machine if that's your thing.

I want to get one as well (if i at some point have the money), because they look really awesome, but i'll have to be prepared to pay serious import taxes and i'm not yet ready to pay $85+shipment+import taxes and administration cost bs.

Every type of atty will vape a little differently, and the good news is that you get to decide for yourself which you like best. A 306 runs a little to hot for me, a HH-357 is a bit to harsh for my taste, and on and on. All that simply means that the atty that I like best is somewhat irrelevant to anyone else.

This is what my atty looks like inside, know what it is?

Aha! Why that there seems to be the infamous double plated reverse engineered titanium 901, hyper threaded double wick with 90% fused aerospace grade miroplasma and 10% shock treated silica (would of went with the 50/50 model myself) the coil seems to be a titanium powder phosphate composite . What a marvelous peice indeed, you have great taste my friend!.

    ROFLMAO

Actually it's just a simple ole 6$ LR 510-T atty with the wick plate removed.
Twice the flavor of a HH-357 without the harshness

To the OP: If all you want to do is test juices, just pick up a 510 atty, bridgeless if you want but doesn't really matter, and a drip tip, and you are good to go for under $10. No need to buy a RBA or something really fancy. A 510 atty lasts me usually a month of really heavy vaping, sometimes longer, so used just for testing I imagine it would last a REALLY long time.

You can get a fatty v2 at okcvapes.com for $85+shipping. I know that's still pricey compared to the products listed on this thread but the fatty v2 is beast a when it comes to taste, TH, and vapor. If you build a good coil it's pure bliss. I prefer it over my Z-atty and Bliss tanks.

$85 sounds pretty pricey for something I am not sure I am going to use a whole lot. I might go for one of the clones to try out. they have the fatty 2 clone (dream) for like $13. Not sure how it compares to the original but prob worth a shot at that price. btw iv been dripping into my vivi nova lately and its not bad for trying different juices
