What's the current best deal on a tootle-puffer box mod?

My kbox minis arrived yesterday and I'm happy with my choice. They are heavy, but the size and shape is perfect, larger than the istick, much smaller than the MVP. I'm not worried about the fixed 510 pin, I haven't had any issues with my previous fixed pin mods. I don't switch toppers around, once i have a mod/topper combination I like, they stick together.

I like the mini tank so well that I haven't used anything else since I got them. They fit flush without effort and match the mod.

Looks like OP already found his mod, but as far as good deals, I saw some Provari 2.5's up for sale on Mr E-liquid for $70...

Provari 2.5's for $70.00 , i didn't see them on that site at all . I did find some P4U 7-22's for $9.95 though.

It apparently won't step down, but you can control wattage by using a higher-resistance coil.

Just ordered! (it's my husband's xmas gift to me! )

Andria,I believe the ipv mini will do step down in PWM mode.
I watched a Phil Pbusardo you tube video where he says the set voltage starts high when the fire button is pushed then it drops to what it's set at.
I think the IPV Mini uses the YiHi SX130 and the specs say 5 to 30 watts and 3 volts to 8 volt.

Yes, someone told me about this in another thread -- and it does work! But I may stick with my 2Ω coils anyway, just for better battery life; I just turn the wattage up .5w and get the same great vape.

The 2 ohm coils really are great; they give me more customization ability -- when I first get up, I like a milder vape, so I don't cough, so the 2 ohm coils at 8.5w work well; once my asthma calms down and my breathing center is fully online, I can ease it to 9w, and it's really good. Later, when I want a bit more oomph, at 9.5w it's still not too hot, though when I used 1.7Ω coils, 9.5w in my Achilles was getting into hot and dangerous territory for me, very likely to bring on a coughing fit -- not so much, with a 2Ω coil. Add in the battery-life savings, and it's a really good coil for me!

Low price suggests low production costs which suggests low quality. Anyone and everyone is pushing and it is very competitive. A lot of mines in the field.

IMHO

I think I must prefer the smoother vape, since Innokin's also offer that, and at first, the vv3's were my faves, and now the CF4's are my faves. But it's more valuable to me to be able to go down to the low wattage at which I vape -- smooth power is worthless if the vape is too hot. I did find that the higher-resistance coil helped, but I think I'm happier with it in PWM mode, since I can vape at the same level I'm accustomed to with my other mods. I don't hear any "rattlesnake", but even when I did hear that, with my old Sigelei Zmax, I never could figure out why people hate it so much. It's just a sound, and a very quiet one, so I don't really see a problem. A noisy 9w is better than a silent 10w.
