Just basing this off your join date and post count. (do not own one) Get the Provari. The biggest failure I see with people going back to analogs is their rig failing on them. Never have I once heard a single bad thing about them in the years I have been vaping. Hell, I wish I had saved my self some money(zmax, lava tube, vamo) and picked one up.

Also, there has already been firmware released so if you so choose, you can upgrade the ipv2s to either 70 or 75 watts (I'm not sure which, I don't recall). I own the ipv2s and love it, haven't felt the need to boost it yet since 60 watts has been well beyond what I need so far, but it functions beautifully. Also the beveled edge going around the box has been finished in like a chrome which sets off the design nicely I think, adds a classier look to the device. Also, upgraded buttons and the dinky screws everyone was complaining about have been upgraded to larger hex screws. Another improvement IMO is that the backplate is now one straight backplate without that line/indent cutting across the top portion about a half an inch from the top. Also, one of those fabric loops have been added to the internals to help you pop the battery out (but I just leave the battery in for the most part and charge it via the sub charging port). Gets really great battery life, I've been on one 18650 purple efest battery for two days and still have about half the charge left, while in my mech mods I would go through at least one or even sometimes two 18650's in a day. Just loving it.

Hi there...been thinking of getting a Provari and I've been told that another mod to look at is the IPV2. I saw that they have recently released the IPV2s and wanted to know what's the difference between the IPV2 and the IPV2s. Also, compared to a Provari, do I get the same silky, smooth vape from the IPV?

Even though i am no fan of the Provari tube design , if i could afford both i would definitely go with the Provari (especially the new model ) . That thing is a pass down and extremely dependable (if going by the older versions track record) .

The main thing you got to figure out is your vape preferences .

If you like high wattage vaping then the Provari is probably not your best choice but if you like class, a fantastic vape that can be depended on for years and a device you can sell down the road which holds it value as well as anything else on the market then you know what to do.
