Welcome , but not much . They're both , not worth buying . Do yourself a big favor and stick to the forum approved vendors and the kits they sell . There are a lot to choose from , but it depends if your trying to stay with something that looks like a regular cigarette . One thing to remember is , the closer it resembles a real cigarette , the worse it will perform . Cartridges are terrible . The batteries don't last very long , and typically those off brands , rarely use standard threading . So your locked into buying only their stuff . Try and find something with a 510 connection . It's the most common , these days , and easier to find atty's , carto's and tanks , that will work on it . See if you can order from Liberty Flights in the UK .

I would say you are probably on the right track, though I do agree with a lot that I have read with sticking with vendors that have been reviewed here.

The model you linked looks like an eGo series, but the manufacturer isn't specified (usually a warning sign, at least for me). For around the same price of that starter kit you can get an eGo from a recognized manufacturer, from a vendor probably reviewed on this site.

It may take some digging but you will be more confident in what you are ordering. Wish I could help more but a little new to this myself, and a good distance away.

You'd be better off moving on to the Volt X2 if you start with Smokeless Image - and using the T3 3ml tank, or the 2 ml version when they come in soon. An X2 is regulated at 3.7 volts. Egos are less at 3.4 volts. X2s come in 650, 900 or 1300 mah. Which can be drip filled. SI are not so basic these days.

FirstCig: both of those links you posted show old out of date batteries. The version is at least a year and a half old. The current ones do not need a cover over the button because they can now be turned off.

You're buying old out of date equipment, but it's your money.
well, I found a ego one that you can turn off

I've used dealextreme. Actually my first e-cig was from there as I was buying various photography accessories and had good experience there. I got that black mini with golden ornament from the first post just to try the e-cig idea.

Well, it's a great thing if you pay it 3$ or less. It will give you some vape and batt will last a day in the beginning (if you are a light smoker) but basically, it's a toy. It was a good decision to go with ego. Not sure what quality are they on DX but it will give you better idea of PV's and you can mix them with clearomizers, tanks and batts from other vendors once the time comes to it.

Those Ego's are definitely not Joyetech. Last time I checked they sell from the manufacturer (bulk, 500 minimum) for that price.

I won't say "don't get it", it may be a quality knockoff, who knows, but it's still a knockoff. As others have said, you may want to look at vendors who are known and reviewed on ECF. There's plenty to choose from, and right now there's a bunch of sales. **Saw your region, perhaps others out there can chime in? I'm not sure how import is and the laws re: ecigs.
