It's hard to say. I have used 50/50 ratio without problems but it was thick.

I have used some homemade VG juice in a volt. It is 100% VG thinned with distilled water at a ratio of 15% water. Has worked alright, but I notice that it can cause slow wicking problems if chain vaping, but I get lots of vapor. Still really new to this and the Volt is my first E-cig.

I recently purchased some 100% vg juice from a local vendor....it's extremely thin and works just fine in the SI cartos. I think it really depends on the juice itself, not the pg/vg ratio (though it's usually a good indicator).

i use 100% vg that is thick and it works fine in my nano i use it in my ce3 but do have to take light hits or ill get a little burnt taste

I too use 90-100% VG on all my Cartos, Vivi's, CE3-4 T3's DCCartos if it is thick (100%VG) I can't let my cartos sit unused for very long. They don't want to vape very good if they have sat with liquid in them. (cartos)
Now vivis and CE3's I tend to have to play with sometimes to get them to wick VG good. (make the wick at little looser) I can't vape PG so I use any where from 5-10% Distilled water along with the flavoring % so a lot of time it is really 80-90% VG the other 10-20% is flavoring and H2O

I only use Volt cartos personally and never had a problem with Malty Toffee from BWB which is IIRC 70/30 VG. It takes a lot longer to fill the carts though cause it's so thick it takes forever for it to absorb so you have to fill them slow and it seemed to really shorten cart life in general. The filler material seems to thin out and discolor and wind up giving a crappy taste a lot quicker then other juices do them.
