What's the longest you've gone without changing your wick??

I had my coil and wick changed about five day's ago. The first pull I took this morning tasted burnt to me. I had my wife try it out and she said it tasted fine to her and thought it was just the juice I'm currently using (which she says taste gross, does not like it to begin with) after a few more pulls seemed to be fine. The juice I had in it was 12mg cotton candy from MT Baker. Doesn't really taste like anything but sweet to me. I don't mind it. It's actually not even that sweet. Kind of has a peppery tobacco taste which is fine. I don't mind that either. Now I have a different juice which is much tastier and is 6mg. So far no burnt taste like I had this morning. Anyway, I don't have any wicks right now, not even cotton balls and won't until probably tomorrow or the next day. So I was wondering what's the longest you guys have gone without changing your wick??

When I was using pre mix, bought online, I needed to change the wick every day (coils were so gunked up I often rebuilt twice a week). That was tiresome. The charm was DIY. My mix is 99% PG/VG, 1% flavoring, and 10 mg nic (1/10th %). I rebuild every two weeks but could probably go longer. The coil turns black but i see no build up. I still rewick twice a week because it seems to improve the texture and throat hit. when I remove a 2 day old wick it is barely tan from use. It might also help that i try to keep coil temperature down. Most puffs don't go above 380F.

Ive got a Velocity atty with a rayon wick in it thats about 1 yr old... but I havent used it for about a year
