I use my mods at home or at work, for going out or running errands, vision spinner.

There are a lot of people out there who just would not be willing to buy something bigger than a cig a like. Don't forget, the vast majority of vapers are not hobbyists like us, they are people who want something they know and love and that means it looks like a cigarette. Then they get disappointed and this happens:
Standard vaping progression.
Why are people still making E cigs when u can get some mods cheaper and perform waay better? I've never understood that. They're even making commercials with blu cigs and v2 cigs.
Well said SD. I gave up smoking 49 days ago after 38 years, and a Vapourlite e-cig lookalike is all I need or want. For me it is a perfect replacement, used in exactly the same way I used to smoke, expect that I vape a lot more than I smoked, but with all the benefits. I have no desire to start using a mod, neither whilst out or at home, and I still cant believe I don't crave a cigarette anymore. Long may it continue. Not everyone wants a large device to vape on. Many do fine using the small cigarette like ones.
The cig alike replacement batteries are expensive compared to mod batteries. Many cig alike batteries run $15-$20 online, add shipping and handling. Mod batteries run $5-$15. Cig alike batteries die pretty darn quick compared to mod batteries. Even ego type batteries can die rather quickly. My best one lasted me 8 months. I feel bad for anyone who wants to take up vaping and their only alternatives are disposables, gas stations and convenience stores that sell the starter kits, but not replacement parts, or liquor and smokeshops who sell obsolete pen style kits.
I've also made the realization that many if not most of the frequent posters at ECF may lean further towards the "hobby" end of things than the average e-cig user, and that's fine! My wife has been off of analogs for almost as long as I have, she loves her vision spinners (in pink and purple) with either a stardust or a vivi mini on top. No desire to progress further. She's also not a member of this forum![]()
