TO add insight, I have the Sony data sheet on file at home and it's a conflicting thing in the vape world...
So the Sony test subjects have tested a Sony and released info as it is safe for 5 second pulses at over 100amps, I don't vape at that level so I can't add the input on it. But others vape at below .1 ohm and have been doing it for sometime, Does that mean it's safe? Guess it all depends on who you ask.
I can tell you that anything above 30amps will have a direct reflection on it's cycle life, I don't like to buy batteries every month so .5-.4 is fine for my needs. I have seen many videos of people trying to push them past there limits in order to see what happens, Mostly in controlled test and causing a dead short. I have yet to see any explode or do anything more then vent but I guess anything could happen. From a educated stand point I would say do what you feel comfortable with, .3 is stated as safe but many factors are needed to understand what is safe to you. I.E. is .35 safe if holding the button for a minute? is .35 safe if you use every 2 seconds until it is at 3.5volts....
Overall I think for our needs it's safe enough for anything above .1ohm, But again I am just someone and not the end all be all so take it for what its worth. Be safe!
