I live in a SMALL Western Nebraska town. As far as I know it's just me and one other girl in town that vapes. People around here are very cool with it though. I haven't had any weird stares or comments on it and I'm a barmaid, so it does get a lot of curious questions. The closest B&M I'm sure is like Denver or something, lol. Online sounds cheaper anyways, lol. But it does kinda suck when you just need some new atty heads or something, you can't just run out and get some...

Let's see...There's me and............well, that's pretty much it. I haven't run across anyone else vaping, even in nearby cities.

Hi I'm from New Jersey I live in 1 of the most stuck up richest counties ( I missed the rich bus lol) across the board! And you know it's really weird there is no vaping community : ( (does anyone have probs with computer trying to input gaping instead of vaping? So annoying lol) Anyways NJ frowns upon smoking analogs so naturally I thought vaping would become popular hmmm maybe I'll start a trend... Oh and a response to Florida having popularity with egos on lanyards, my friend works at a gas station so I bought him one for his e cig mini even though it's useful we all tease him for it lol! So when I read that just now I pictured a bunch of Joe's(my friend) running around with lanyards and I literally burst out into laughter....so now my finance is starring at me with a perplexed look Lmao I looked at him an said it's a vape thing you wouldn't understand! Happy Vaping everyone!

Hey peanutt! We have a lot in common, I'm in NJ, my fiancé doesn't vape (or smoke) and have a friend in FL! Lol he says he sees people with one of the "big" ecigs all the time. I know one woman at work that is useing an ego her son bought her to motivate her to quit, she didnt quit or start using it til she saw me vaping ;) but now she's cig free! I think I'm close to convincing a couple friends to switch but hasn't happened just yet. I even showed the one how many bottles of liquids I'd be willing to give her. All the ones I went through trying to find a fav, but hopefully she'll like some! I def never see random people around with a pv or reg ecig which is a little surprising considering how close I am to Philly and NYC is about an hr and half away. Hopefully soon it'll catch on.

Well I keep to myself much of the time so it's hard to say - haven't seen any vapers in the wild in Hbg or Gettysburg, a couple in York and a few in MoCo MD. None in DC. York has a large vapers club though, and there is a club in Lancaster too. A couple shops scattered about S/central PA but none close enough to me; my buddy in Mechanicsburg is going to slang eGos & such in his consignment shop though. There is a stand in York once a week that has Chinese juices and cartos, and eGos. Baltimore area is blowing up though - there are a few shops around that area (most notably Vape Dojo). A couple juice folk based around here - bluemist and D&D are the two I know best.

Fellow Camp Hill/Harrisburg vaper here. Haven't been to any of the White Rose meets yet but definitely plan to. Speaking of shops, I always thought Custom Blends should get in to the vaping scene but the owner is die hard set on tobacco. Hell they're even wasting the awesome Custom Blends name/domain by using Planet DIY instead.

The scene in Southern California has blown up in the last year, there are many new vape stores that have opened up. I've stopped by some of them and I notice there are two types 1 is the people that care and what to help there customer and knowledge them about vaping. They also supply hard to find products and sell quality products! Then the 2nd are the people that are just in it for the money, trying to find any possible ways to add new things to make $$! It feels like its become more of a fashion trend than anything else

I was actually surprised at how many people I see vaping here every day. Every time I go out to the car or the casinos, there is at least one other person vaping.
There are 4 B&M here, and two of them are always busy. At least 10 of my coworkers just started vaping this month!

You are correct...we are everywhere down here! I can even guess which shops are always busy. You will see me visiting both Mark at GC Vapers and Kevin at Smoke Screen from time to time. I am a dealer at the Hard Rock and am always giving vaping advice while dealing on the table. I will even give out business cards on the table to either shop, depending on where they live.

I would say the biggest reason you see so many people vaping around here is the fact we have active B&M stores in the area. As vaping becomes more visible, more smokers are interested. It is up to us to take the time to educate them about vaping when they ask and send them to a reputable shop that will set them up with a decent setup for them to get started. Once they come over to the dark side, their friends will soon become curious...and the cycle continues!

Who would have ever thought that damned-near-in-the-gulf Mississippi would become a large vaping community?

Galen

P.S. If you see a redneck in an LSU hat hitting a Provari in the middle of Home Depot/Sams or any other store...that's me!

I live in the Mid-Cities area of Dallas-Fort Worth. There is a B&M store about 10 minutes away, and in the greater DFW area there are no less than a dozen stores of decent size. The first time I went to a vape store in Dallas it was packed at 2pm on a Tuesday. Moms with kids in tow as well as slacker-looking youngsters and everything in between.

The North Texas Vapers have an active FB page and host monthly vape gathering at local bars with vendor space. Demos, giveaways, trade basket and more. This weekend's gathering has well over 100 RSVP'd. I vape in public regularly and no one has ever bugged me about it. My favorite bar in Dallas went smoke free a couple of years ago. Now I see dozens of vapers inside and hanging out with smokers outside. Nothing weird at all. All in all I think DFW is a very strong vaping city.

In both of the places that I live, I have not noticed many people using e-cigs. Traditional smokers are quite plentiful.

Having said that, back in S.F. at my archery club, 2 of the members use disposable e-cigs and 1 member uses a mod, which i am not familiar with. That is how I got started.

Back in the SF Bay Area, smoking is banned just about everywhere.

I'm in Baltimore City and I have never seen anyone else vaping. It must be catching on because there are quite a few B&M stores opening in the outlying areas and they are busy, but I have yet to see anyone vaping in public. You would think it would catch on since you are barely allowed to smoke on your own property here in Maryland.

Here in southeastern Massachusetts, there is just one that I know of- the eCig Barn in Raynham. They just opened up a beautiful "vape cafe" style shop, but they are insanely overpriced when compared to on-line prices, and their variety is limited. I just found another shop in Barrington, Rhode Island, about 35 minutes from where I am in SE Mass. It's called the E-Cig Barn, and is a tiny shop in the front of a house. Selection and prices were very good, and they even had a respectable selection of mods and mod accessories, and a bunch of tanks. I dropped a few bills in there and would reccommend them in a heartbeat... Other than that, there isn't much of a "scene". Its really a limited market, and on my college campus, I haven't seen anyone else vaping.

The vape scene in my area doesn't seem to be too big but I am seeing more and more. I think being 15-20 mins away from Phillip morris and having super low state taxes on tobacco (packs of cigs are below $5 and usually they have specials with 2 packs for under $8-9).

But at the same time vapecon was just down the road from me last year (and i missed it :( )so there has got to be some vapers here.

I would love to open a vape store here because I think there could be a lot of business with a bunch of colleges around the city but idk how well I would be at ~starting~ a business as apposed to running an already established one (i tried to start a glass blowing business but that didnt really work out, then again demand for that kind of stuff is not very high right now). There is also that whole start up money thing ;)
