Whats the VOLTAGE of this thing?

I know the first person who replies will have the answer to my question and that will be that, so I'm sorry for creating a whole thread to ask ONE measly question. (If some kind ECF member could advise me as to how to ask simple questions in the future w/out having to ask in a thread, that would be nice. If it really doesn't bother the mods to do this then ... well, carry on ...

I can't seem to find the voltage information on Ego batteries that do NOT have the VV. Obviously on the VV you have a setting that changes ... but I'm looking at these regular Egos and there is NO information as to how many volts it actually *is*. It's the same on every site, so it's not just the site I'm looking at.

The reason I ask is because I always vape on the highest level of any of my VVs so the VV is kind of pointless to me... but I cant stand the thought of buying a regular only to allow 3.2 volts or something crazy low.

ETA: Why does something that says it goes to 6.0 volts also say that the "working voltage of the battery is 3.3-3.4"???

a regular ego battery is 3.2v.

It depends eGo batteries are typically 3.2-3.7v I believe off of a fresh charge and depending on the actual manufacturer, Kanger eVod batteries are regulated to 3.7v I believe.

all 1s (single cell) lithium batteries are 3.7 volts. regulated models can be anywhere from 3.2 on up. with 3.0 being the voltage cutoff.

the way I read it most ego are 3.2-3.3 (joyetech and clones)
then got my kanger and read and felt it was 3.7

I never thought it would be that big of a difference between say 3.3 & 3.7
but try a kanger and joy with same tank-sure is

then I have a joyetech "UPGRADE" ego passthru that if after you 5-clk it off,
hold the button for 10 seconds it changes to a different color and another MODE-which is
full mode (what ever power output the battery has stored/charged it outputs)

Some Joytech batteries that are regulated are 3.2 - 3.4 something like that- people give different specs. Unregulated like the KGO, echo-e start out higher and drop.

If you want above that, most people use mods that are VV.

You can use a mechanical mod at a higher fixed voltage, but you'd be using two batteries, not always recommended unless properly vented. You can get a box mod that's 5v.
