...
At the rate I am burning through atties I might have to just put the PV down for a bit and stick to snus and snuff.

You doin' the 6v thing there DB?

Finishing the evening with a Probe Whiskey.

Dentist tomorrow for full upper extraction, doubt I'll be using snus for a day or so. Not sure how that will affect my use of a PV but I've got all the snuff I could need to get by with!

Well ya I think I located part of the problem.

I got my new one shorting someplace popping attys and near instant battery drain. I am stummped.
My old is busting 6v right along loving the few crappy 510s I got that were horrible on anything lover and chugging these 2 901s right along...Just not feeling the 801 loves.

...Darnit OTD that's gonna hurt a little. Hope you recover soon and get your mouth back into action.

Oop! your not supposed to remind me 'bout the hurt part :D

Yeah, I'm thinkin' it'll be more of an inconvenience then anything else. Darn teeth are loose enough on their own they should come out with little difficulty. What I'm really not looking forward to is re-learning how to eat!

Well tomorrow is covered at least. The wife is driving me, I've got a bottle of VO and a bottle of Vicadin ready and waiting and lots of soup and noodles too.

If I post anything tomorrow ya'll will probably be able to tell how well my pain management methods are working

Bit more Honey Bee for the evening and I'm outta here.

I hope you have found a solution. I have trouble blowing attys on my Prodigy at 5 volts and my passthrough at 4.3v. I don't know why but I have never blown an atty at 3.7 volts. At 3.7 they just clog up. Higher voltage they just go silent with no warning. I think that when you first push the button the atty sees the full volt hit for just a moment before the voltage drop happens. I think they need to design attys for high voltage use.

Wow....Everyone here has tooth problems it seems:( I have to see a periodontist in Feb to see how bad the rest of my teeth are.I have to believe my dental problems are the result of smoking for over 30 years(and over indulgance of soda pop). The best thing that could have happened was quitting smoking....now it's time to repair what I have left!:)The Wiz!

Been there, done that, too late for me. One advantage is that my upper plate provides a good support for a snus portion.

Thanks all
Just back from the dentist.
Dentures look good but of course I feel, off...

Properly functioning 510 doesn't require the type of sucking that the dentist warns against after extractions, as with a cigarette.
So I'd like to think I could vape.

But my lips are still so numb I can't feel the mouthpiece. 8-o
Same thing for the snuff, I can't feel my nose!
Snus, probably in the lower lip, later, again after the numbness goes away.

Vicadin, Ibuprofen, shot of VO, can of Ensure and a movie.

For all those that have gone before, I salute you! :D

I look forward to finding out for myself a2d.
I know I'm going to have to allow for some healing before I put a potion in the upper lip... darn it.

One plus: at least we shan't have to worry about the portion causing tooth decay.
at least that's what I tell myself.
But the costs are (where I am living) astronomical. Plate £5000, Friction retained bridge £14,000.
multiply by 1.6 for dollars.

8-o

Good grief, that's expensive for sure! I can see why you've delayed that routine.
