Hey the thread does seem a bit slowed. Like Dred I have my snuff tins in the nifty little cardboard cubes but must invent a wrap method so the ones that aren't airtight don't all end up smelling the same. Or find the equivalent of smash box containers over here. I like the original tins because they are clearly labelled but the SG tap boxes need at least taping. Wish I had a large roll of that nice green tape.
Gave myself backache from clenching my fists and not yelling in the dentist's chair on Monday. Going back this morning for more ill-treatment, and this is just the denture-making stage! Mind you, Monday was scaling and the cold water jet nearly made me pass out. In fact I wish I had passed out. That would have been kinder to the spine.
Received the McChrystal's Hopfen snuff today - smells very nice. Definitely takeable with a beer. Hope it will go with Guinness, cos I don't care for light beer.
Now send me good vibes and courage for the dental experience.
By the end of this year I will have spent far more on teeth and associated dental sensations than on pleasure with snuff or snus or e-liquid.
Mhhh....will have to do better next year.

:)

C.

Only vaping, must save the snus for afterwards.

Good morning. C, we wish you the best of luck with the dentist. I had scaling done about a year and a half ago and totally understand where you are coming from on that one. I assume that they at least gave you the novacaine(don't know if that's how you spell it). Off to the races with:

Depressing morning for me. I am sending my beloved government a lot of my hard earned cash so they can flush it down their cash toilet.

Mind you perhaps I am just being a pessimist. Chances are my money will go to good use, I have always been gung ho for the cow fart studies……..maybe they will put it toward that good cause!

    Sigh

    Vaping Bella
Snuffing WOS French Carotte (this stuff is growing on me……I rather like it)

God I love this Crooked Country!!!

Mornin' all :). dg, take heart in the knowledge that your hard earned dough will be wasted mindlessly or selfishly without gratitude. It's nice not to have to wonder about these things, huh.

this is sly, raising lilboot's postcount while she's not looking......

she snused some fellinni mini mints today during class/work, and general mini mints at home :D

So......were ya wearin' high heels and lipstick to make that post.....maybe I don't wanna know......8-o.

Novocaine? Fraid the scaling took place with no anaesthetic. This is not the New World y'know. Nor even the medical Paradises of the UK or Europe. Doctors and dentists always think I look the courageous type. I ought to practise looking frail and sensitive.

However today the clinic was full of the circling protective avatars of my smokeless friends and so there was no pain involved - merely looking at the prototype denture and admiring the ghastly thing from all angles except the way it will look when in place.
I had jokingly asked for tiny flowers on each tooth but will have to be content with getting back the flawless incisors I had before a reckless dance partner spun my nineteen year old self into close facial contact with a WW2style cast iron radiator. I guess history can be erased after all, though it was a terrific party up to that point! :)

Anyway, I felt the vibes and they were 100% effective cos I am let off with only paying £650 this month and allowed to pay a mere £150 next month and no doubt £200 for several succeeding months. So the pain is only financial today and less than it might have been. So next step is getting a date for the surgery some time at end of May. I believe they use Valium then cos I'm not allowed to drive myself home afterwards or take a taxi. Some hapless friend will have to be drafted in to ferry me home.

I'm off to France for the weekend - gonna forget all about teeth till the end of May. But then I will ask again for your moral support, cos the prospect does scare the heck out of me.

Think I'll put together a special post op celebration menu - General Mint (maxi and maybe several) plus 36mg Platinum Ice to vape via SD with Turkey Baster attachment plus ladlefuls of McChrystal's O&G.

Meanwhile, Mini Mint to steady the nerves and plenty of Assam Tea. Tea and snus could possibly stain the teeth, but somehow that no longer bothers me much! I hear the Icelandic Volcanic Dust is headed our way, mebbe some prophylactic snuffing is in order, to prevent getting too many basalt particles up one's snoot.

    :)

    C.

PS May 19 circled on calendar with "Think of Wiz!" next it.

C, I can't believe that you don't get any novacaine or gas for the scaling. I could hardly imagine that. I hope you have a nice trip to France. I would like to go there some day. I am not sure if I understand why the surgery? Are they implants and not dentures?

I live close to France - just an hour's catamaran journey. Heck if I were younger and fitter I could prolly get there by canoe or windsurfer. Some local endurance heroes have even swum it. Were I really well off I'd get a James Bond style mini copter! maybe when I've retired..... :)

Implant bills would be well into the thousands, I imagine. Surgery is to remove skin debris from a previous abcess site. Coupla stitches from what I understand, as well as the departure of 7 or 8 teeth.
Anyway, not to make folks nauseous over their lunch! shall say no more about teeth or tooth-doctoring.

Must pack this evening or tomorrow morning! I always take cutlery and paper plates, so I can buy deli foods to picnic on! Taking the shopping bags too - it's market day there on Saturday! French food is always far more delicious than ours.
