Just finished up a 500+ tournament, finished 15th but only the top 10 got paid. Better luck next time.

Speaking of lousy luck, I'm running bad. Dropped my helmet in the drive and scratched the bottom of my shield which is really annoying, but that will have to wait because I needed to buy a new jacket since I lost mine on Monday. It was in the high 30's when I left in the morning but the temp climbed to nearly 90 in the afternoon. I had so much stuff in the scoot plus a canvas bag strapped on. I took the liner out of the jacket but it was still hot so I tied the jacket down between the handles of the bag. Somehow it flew out in a two mile stretch. I sensed it but looked back and thought it was still there until I got to the exit. I retraced that stretch but is was gone- either picked up or blown over the side where there were 50-60 yard drops.

Finally Jackson jumped up on me while I had my ear buds in and he ripped the wires out of the one bud. I may attempt to re solder it but it's pretty delicate.

At this rate I'll soon need a job.

I did pick up two cans of SM- one of each. The Nordic grew on me and I wanted to try the tobacco flavored.

Roth, I am so non-competitive with most things I usually end up getting competitive people mad at me. LOL In high school we had bowling for gym class. One day I bowled 3 games and my average score was 16. I had fun, but the teacher was pretty mad....

It sucks about the jacket and helmet. They aren't cheap to replace.

I'm still dialing in the edge on my razor. I shaved with it yesterday, but it can be better. I think this steel is really hard. It's taking a lot of work to get it done. But I'm close...

Waiting for a snus delivery with:

Good morning. Axl you'll be fine. Just try to focus on something else. Bring a good book or something.

Skrymr, you have way more patience than I do. Good luck to on finishing the razor the way you want it.

Roth, if I were you, I wouldn't step on any cracks or walk under a ladder today. Sorry about your run of bad luck but hopefully it's over now.

Woohoo! I got it finished the way I wanted. I was worried about the edge crumbling, so I took it to work last night and looked at it under a microscope. It looked great. No rough edge. So this morning I was up earl and put it to the hones again. I followed it up with diamond sprays and chromium oxide powder. It is at least as sharp as my best razor. Now to see how the edge holds up. I have high hopes here because I think it is very hard steel. I think that's why it took so long to hone.

I got my order from Snuscentral this morning. I tried the chocomint, but all I tasted was mint. Not bad, and I will try it again, but mint isn't my cup of tea. The Orange is pretty good. I'm glad Hitt warned me about the initial taste, because it tasted like orange rind. But it settled down nicely. I like it so far.

Skrymr, don't smell the orange when you open the can either. That's cool that things worked out so well on your razor. I liked the chocomint ok and would agree that I don't taste the choco part very much. I didn't reorder it after my initial order.

No Axl, it was actually 4. Today I came to the realization that my tin of Togue raspberry menthol was in my moto jacket. I was just happy my VV and MP3 player were not in it until I went for a sniff of snuff. Oh well, I still have other stuff I haven't tried but I think I'll have a few poker players disappointed.

Skry, If you grow a beard, you can eliminate 90% of the shave although I doubt that what you're doing has much to do with actually shaving and more to do with the craftsmanship.

I wanted to put a second coat of paint on my lawn wagon and a cabinet I have in my garage that were rusting pretty good. They're looking pretty good compared to how they looked before the painting. That should keep them longer than I'll last.

.... Clark died today I just heard.

I smelled orange as soon as I broke the seal to open my can. But I didn't stick my nose down in it when I opened it... LOL

Sherry will probably like the chocomint, but I got two rolls of the new Thunder Cool mint for her today. I hope she likes it. She likes General mint, but it isn't strong enough nic for her. I only ordered two cans of chocomint, and three cans of cool orange. The orange might be a re-order. It gets better and better as it is in for a while. We'll see how I like it after the three cans are gone.

Roth, I heard about .... Clark too. That's too bad. He was some kind of icon.

Skrymr, I like the general mint and really like the thunder cool mint so I think she will probably like it. It doesn't hurt either that it's about half the price of the general. I haven't made it thru the first of the three cans that I got yet. I do like it ok but as usual, I have so many cans open at once that it takes a while to finish any one can. The only one I go thru consistently is the general mint but that very well may change to cool mint.

Hitt, .... Clark is someone I basically grew up seeing on American Bandstand when (here's where the age will show) we got our first black and white TV. Now I wasn't that into the show itself, because I really didn't get buried in music till the British Invasion (and the Beatles didn't take me there till they got past the mass hysteria). However, he was always around from my youth till now.

He actually lived outside Philly in those early years and was neighbors with Ed McMahon. A big deal for the girls was to go to Philly and get on the show. They had regulars, but it was open to the public also. Not quite sure how that worked out but I saw a number of the girls on the show from my high school. I can't remember when he left for LA but it was devastating for those that had really gotten into that scene.

I wonder how Axl handled her flight. I really can understand how unnerving flying can be when you're not used to it since I went through some early anxiety until it got so second hand that the flight anxiety left and the freaking pre-flight "ceremony" got so obnoxious. I may fly again, but if I can travel any other way I will. I guess I got spoiled a bit flying business class, pre-9/11. After that, everything just got too technical.

That really is sad about .... Clark. He was truly an icon.

Hitt, after spending the night with the Thunder orange I can see using it occasionally. It definitely won't replace my Thunder Original. Sherry says the cool mint is like sucking on a candy cane, and she hates the chocomint. I can tolerate the chocomint, so I'll work through the two can's I got.

Roth, since I only shave every other day, It really isn't about the shave as much as collecting razors and sharpening them. I have a small natural hone collection too, and always looking for more. Chasing the perfect edge can be fun and challenging. I would like to get the edge I got today without the diamond sprays. I can definitely see making more razors in the future, but I would like to get the proper tools to do them at home. Living in an apartment makes that unlikely for now. What I really need is a garage.... LOL

This is a razor that I would really, really like to get. Hand made New Straight razors by "LEZCHA" * " Japanese Smiling" * | eBay

It's very good copy of a rare Japanese razor. I've seen an original sell recently for $1,200. Some day I'll try to make one.

Good morning. Skrymr I'm surprised that she didn't like the cool mint. I've tried the below zero mint and nick and johnny crushed ice and the cool mint is the closest to the general that I've tried. I never cared much for the thunder frost flavor. Has anyone else tried the lab05? I got three cans the first time I ordered it and liked it pretty well. I added five cans to the order I did with getsnus when they were running the free shipping deal but it was backordered and I just got the rest of my order yesterday. I think I'll keep the 05 in my rotation.

I guess I was confused when you said it was like a candy cane. If she doesn't like it, let me know. I'd probably take it off your hands. Have you seen any sign of gutter lately? It seems like forever since he's posted.

Good morning. Skrymr, I just went and looked at the link for that razor. Holy cow, that's a lot of dough for a razor. I guess that just about any hobby can get expensive. Heck, look at all the vaping stuff that people buy in search of the perfect hit.
