Good morning. I think today might be a good day. I have to go on a service call that is about an hour away and am looking forward to getting out of here for a while. I had the purchasing guy ...... at me yesterday because he once again let us run out of a very common item that we should never be out of and I called him on it. I told him over a week ago that we were getting low on them and evidentally he didn't order any. It only takes two days shipping time to get an order. Oh well he will get over it and so will I. Well I got my snuff and small order of snus yesterday. So far with the snus I have tried the Thunder frost mini and Discreet strawberry. The minis taste pretty good and I will definitely get the regular portions when I can order next month. The strawberry are a little weird but combined with my DIY Strawberry cheesecake vape juice, it's a pretty lovely experience.
What I really want to mention is the snuff! The first one I tried (and this is the first time I have ever used snuff) was the Quit with Snuff Irish coffee. It came in the bullet. I used the bullet and tried to sniff as lightly as possible. It burned pretty bad in my snuff virgin nose, but OMG did it hit me like a freight train! Subsequent sniffs throughout the day did not hit me like this from any of the 4 varieties.. I am sure because I knew more what to expect, but that first ever sniff was a shock to my body.
My second sniff was the Spanish Gem. This one also took me by surprise. I am not sure if I sniffed a bit too hard, but I got this ice-pick like shot of pain up the right side of my brain when I sniffed through the right nostril. It didn't last too long, but was a little scary. This has not happened when sniffing through the left nostril, but has happened a few more times when I use the right one. I wonder what this means?
I also got the Quit with Snuff Ice Cool and I like it.
My favorite and final one came in a tiny little packet. It's the Sparrow Cool Snuff from Dholakia. The scent stayed longer than the others and the nic hit was very nice.
All in all, other than the shooting pain in the brain thing... I find snuff to be very satisfying. The rush hits as fast if not faster than a cigarette, and completely curbed my craving even if only temporarily. And like cigarettes, it is the first sniff of the day that is the strongest. This morning I had a bullet serving of the Spanish Gem followed 20 mins later by the Ice cool. Very satisfying much like the first ciggie.
I only need a little to get "that feeling" One bullet serving with half a sniff in each nostril. The snus along with this seems to be working though the snus seems a little weak but that will be fixed on my next order! (and of course the kindness of Hittman who is mailing me a can of the Thunder Berry
I am still enjoying vaping for the physical act, but I think I can lower the nic content of that down from 36mg. I am hoping that in a month or two I will be good with less nic overall.
In conclusion, the combination of snuff, snus, and vaping is giving me hope that I will never touch another cigarette again I am so blessed to have come over to this side of the tracks. I thank you, this forum may have well saved my life.

Freya, the feeling you are talking about is what I call a brain hit. I actually kind of like it . I think it is from sniffing too hard but am not sure. I sent the t-bombs yesterday along with a little surprise. I hope you enjoy it.

asidrave, looks like you are really getting into snuffing. Between what I have and the order I should be getting from WoS, I already have enough snuff to last a very long time. The only problem is that there are so many out there that I still have not tried. So A little tip I have found to make Toque snuff have a better scent and not burn as much is to take the lid off of it and let it breathe for a day or two. I think it works so give it a try and welcome to the Dark side.
i really enjoy snuffing....it really fills the void between snusing and when i just want or need an extra nic hit. i find i really like scotches and menthols mainly.
your right about there being soo many different snuff hittman...way more than snus. im pretty much going to stick with slight variations of what i like...mainly scotches and menthols
Have you tried the ozona president yet? It is not a super strong menthol but it is good. Just like the ozona raspberry, it seems to only come in a small container though. It is a small tap box.
