Hiya gang. Just popping in to have a look around before logging off for a few days of R&R on the beach with my lady friend. I'm told the hotel has wi-fi, so I'll probably be checking in when she's not looking. She's a late sleeper, so that should mean I have plenty of time in the mornings for kibitzing around the forum and soaking up the salt breeze.

I've got a good selection of snuff (WoS Choco-Orange & Coffee Cream, Toque Whisky & Honey, and Honey Bee) and snus (General Mint and Wintergreen, Grov OP, Nick and Johnny) ready for the carry on. Seems I've got much less anxiety about travel now that I'm not going to be tweaking out for a fix before even getting on the plane. Should be fun.

snuscentral charged me 9.53 to ship 25 cans...is that a bad price? I guess I don't even pay attention (sorry stubby), I just order and pay whatever. I never thought what northerner charged was unreasonable, but then, my orders were always at least 30 cans so maybe it's worse when you order just a few. I wouldn't know as I don't have that kind of self control!!

I'm right there with you OTD. I had an order in with getsnus and they backordered half a roll on me. The backorder was cancelled by northerner and now if I still want it, I have to reorder and pay more shipping.

Axl, that's not too bad. It's only .20 more than it would have cost for 15 cans. So at some point the charge must level out. I know at my work it is about 4.50 for the first pound and would guess that for 9.50 I could probably ship at least ten or 15 pounds by UPS.

Good morning. In my frustration with getsnus(three emails and no response), I was looking around for somewhere else to order snus from. I found a few but they are about a dollar higher a can. One place was a dollar higher a can but offered free shipping on all orders. So far I have not found any place that would actually beat the prices at getsnus or snuscentral with the shipping charge included. I guess I just got spoiled by the decent prices and fair shipping. I guess there will be no more of that.

I have some somewhat good news about the shipping at getsnus. I ran several different quantities thru sample orders to find out how much shipping increased. At about a 35 can order, the shipping is very close to coming out at what the cost per can was when I ordered 20 cans before at the lower shipping charge. So in other words, a larger order will get the shipping charge per can close to what it was before. At snuscentral, the sweet spot seems to be at about 25 cans. When I tried 30 cans, it raised the shipping a couple more dollars compared to 25. This will be workable. I will just have to place bigger orders to keep the shipping cost per can down.

hehe.. here is a funny thing. I did not realize you can get Thunder Frosted Mini's in extra stark... same 16mg as the full potion size. So I emailed Getsnus and asked to cancel my order because I saw them at Northerner. He messaged me back and told me the thunder frosted mini extra stark would not be in stock till early next week and if I still wanted to cancel my order.

Heads up freya..... the Thunder Frosted Mini's are only 8mg. The specs they show are for 1 gram of their 'baccy, not a half gram portion. It's very misleading, so if 16mg portions are what you're after, only the full-sized ones will deliver.

You know TV I think you may have been right a while back when you stated that higher nic mg doesnt intensify the effect of snus, just makes the effects last longer. I feel no different with a 4mg or a 16mg but if I use a 4mg I will use more of them. Anyhoo Im pretty much a los boy now and only use portions when los isnt convient.

TV, I will definitely keep those numbers in the back of my mind. If you forget, just ask, I will remind you. I was just determined to find a way to get that shipping cost down. I can do a 25-35 can order pretty easy now that I know what I like. I was going to put in an order for 15 cans before all of this happened but now will have to figure out what else to get to get up to 25. I just need to take an inventory of my stock.

Thats why I love the Thunder Frosted so much. A portion last 2+ hrs with residuals of no cravings. If I do an Ettan, I'll need 2x as many. So, once that morning level is reached I can leave it in, suff it up some and wont usually vape till the evening and then its more of a relaxing thing.......or a special flavor I like. I pay no attention to the nic of what it is.

With all these changes I know I wont be ordering after June 15th for sure. Kinda jumped the gun didnt they? I never thought I'd have over 5lbs of tobacco products in the house at one time either....lol
