Yes, there is usually no real reason. We've tried asking USPS for assistance, but typically they are not helpful with any real information. They always suggest EXPRESS Shipping if it is urgent. UPS Ground is 5 business days, and still twice the price or more of USPS. It still amazes me that we can ship packages across the country for less than $10.

My package arrived in 4 days with the holiday. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to how they are working things at that post office.

I have to put my middle finger in the air to usps(Bellingham) post office as the expected delivery was for today and it did not make it,went past 2 expected delivery's. I had received offers from people to send me juices to tie me over and I didn't accept because shipment was for today(I should've known)I know this will be a thing of the past after it finally arrives but as of now its anger and panic on my part.I don't blame ecigexpress for this but I can't order again until I know this problem has passed or spend a little more for a different delivery method, this was my first order.Sorry just ticked off.

My Tracking: This should serve proof of a failing mail system or snail mail system

Closest brick and mortar decided they are closed yesterday and just as I'm ready to head up today,I look at their facebook page and they announce they are closing early.I can't believe in the whole city of Philly no one sells juice,I even called smoke shops and they don't carry it.Unbelievable!!! I either need to start making friends in my area with people who vape or start to do a major stock up on juices so this never happens.

Hang tight, Steve. I know a few vapers in your area that may be able to help you.

It looks as though the tracking has changed and it is in a town called Kent,But I can't believe it is still in Washington.Looks like I'm breaking open a bottle of 100%Vg with no Nic, first time since I started vaping,Expected Delivery on 2-23 Sat.Damn!!!

Kent is a major sort facility for Washington-based USPS. So if you see that pop up, it is leaving the state next.

I have to mail through northern WA and I too see delays. They get HAMMERED; there is not much population but there is an influx of Canadians crossing the border to ship. It's insane the volume of packages that they have to process. I wonder if this has something to do with it. I know there have been cutbacks, so if USPS is cutting back based on population but not volume of mail I could see the system getting overwhelmed logistically. I don't know, I am speculating.

Blame Canada.

And now with USPS "tracking" each package will have to be scanned at every touch, I presume. If this is done by hand, then you can imagine...

That said, if my post office was taking 5 days to go from "shipment accepted" to the next origin scan, then I would find a better way. That's terrible for business. First Class is still the way to go to keep costs down, however. There is no other reasonable alternative for such small packages that comprise so many of our ecig and liquid orders.

This could very well be my last order from this geographic area. What a shame.

edit:this morning it says it's in Chicago. That is one goofy post office out there. Besides the lack of tracking update it looks like it sat there for at least 3 days. 7 days to get here. Left the Chi sorting center bound for my neighborhod at 2AM so I should get it today.

I know UPS has been calling us about a service called UPS Mail Innovations. The idea behind it is that they run the package accross country, then they hand it over to the PO for the "last mile" delivery. It is something we are looking into. UPS has excellent tracking capabilities but their ground service is a little slower - They estimate 5 business days, whereas USPS estimates 2-5 depending on method chosen.

I'll keep you posted if we try the UPS Innovations.

Thanks

My problem wasn't with Bellingham - it's along the line - tracking shows it departed Kent 3/14 (no time noted) with an expected delivery of 3/15. I'm in central NY and usually before it gets to me it arrives in Rochester. ECX was nice enough to send it Priority Mail - but where it is and when to really expect it I have no clue. Nothing has been updated since 3/14.

I did doubt they'd get it here 3/15 - when I read that I thought no way, but maybe if it was Priority - but I honestly didn't expect it. But there's still no info updates. The other tracking linked here I see took 4 days to get to Philly from Kent - but that was sent 1st class - this is Priority - so not sure if the same time frame can be used. But 4 days to get to an east coast processing center would make it either 3/18 or 3/19. Once I see it hits Rochester it typically gets to me the next day.

No way can ECX be blamed for this - they processed my order quickly and sent it Priority Mail!

Why would the USPS project an 'expected delivery date of 3/15' when it seemed highly unlikely it'd even reach the processing center by that date? If I would venture a guess - I'd say I likely won't see it until 3/20 - and I'm hoping there will be an update by Monday 3/18 at least! (Assuming they haven't lost it of course.) But I think it's a shame ECX paid for Priority Mail service and definitely are not getting what they paid for.

Update 3/17: Incredibly the package has been processed through - San Francisco!? Here's Priority Mail taking 4 days to go from Kent to San Fran - and it still has to get to New York state! This has to be the craziest track I've ever seen from USPS. And still no clue when it may get to me.

Another update - still nothing - this 'priority mail' departed San Fran on the 17th and tracking shows no updates. 'Expected delivery' is still the 15th. Apparently the package is somewhere in the twilight zone. Or they are literally walking it across country ...

IDK what is happening to usps. I sent out a package and it took 11 days first class. I actually thought it was lost. It eventually turned up. I just sent out 2 packages first class with tracking. Two days and its already to that destination.

The problem was never with ECX - they shipped promptly - it's once the USPS got it hands on it that it became an issue. My package finally arrived - 10 days after it was scheduled. ECX paid for priority and didn't get what they paid for.

I ended up having to put a trace on it and the PO had no idea where it was and gave me a claim number but suggested I give it a 'few more days' and it finally appeared 4 days after that - but incredibly the Post Office kept insisting it was 'no big deal' and it was a 'normal' delay!? I pointed out Priority usually took 5 days at most - not 2 weeks - lol - therefore NOT 'normal.' The PO would not admit it was even unusual for such a long delay.

They only 'suggested' (a mumble was more like it) that Kent should not have sent it to SF and that's what 'may' have created the problem - that is IF there was a problem. Their reaction would have been comical under other circumstances.

My box arrived slightly crushed but the contents were safely packaged and had no damage. ECX throughout the whole thing was apologetic and helpful and would have shipped out a replacement promptly if the package did end up lost. So to be clear - I have no problems with ECX whatsoever.
