So far have tried RY4 and Grey Matter.

1 word comes to mind; PINESOL!!!

The RY4 almost made me vomit after 10 toots. The Grey matter is less piney, but I can't vape this for more than 5 minutes.

I think it's the tobacco base he uses. Very strong chemicaly taste reminiscent of PINESOL or other floor cleaning products with Pine.

I have 8 more juices from them to sample, but the 2 tobacco flavors I got are a serious thumbs down!!

Perhaps steeping for 3-4 weeks will help mellow out the flavors?

No one likes the taste of pine sol... so no one would intentionally design a flavor to match it...

Some people get that pine sol taste from tobacco absolutes - whether they are from mr. e liquid or another vendor... while some get a satisfying real tobacco flavor...

I get no pine sol whatsoever... but I believe that you do... I have heard that same description of certain absolutes several dozen times on ecf in the past few years.

My advice would be to stay away from absolutes.

I am not a huge fan of certain absolutes either... I get more of a Hamster/Gerbil cage taste from them. (I have never tasted the inside of a gerbil cage... but you know what I mean right?)

I don't think steeping it would make that taste go away...

With that said... I do want to give Mr. E liquid some love... they make some seriously daring and great flavors...

I've been sampling their Kamel Hump and Red Rider flavors. To me, both have a hint of something after the exhale. I wouldn't say pine sol...can't really describe it but its something that I wished wasn't there at first. But now I'm noticing it less and starting to enjoy a little bit, since the overall flavors are quite good. Especially the Red Rider. Tastes like Wyatt Earp but better and not as licorice-y. The Kamel is good but didn't usurp my favorite, Desert Joe. Today I'm going to try a freebie they included: a new flavor called Blend 21. And I wouldn't hesitate to try more of their flavors in the future.
