I'm having problems charging all of them.....I've got 3 Volt X2s, 2 Infernos and 1 eGo Spinner.....The Volts take forever to charge. I'm not even sure how long, but the one plugged in right now (a fairly new one - only a couple of weeks old) is going on 12 hours. Another Volt X2 just seems to have died. When I try to charge it, the light turns on for a few seconds and then goes out and it has no charge. That one is a a few months old, so maybe it's dead already? The 3rd volt got stepped on and broke, but before that happened it was also suffering from taking forever to charge.

The Infernos - I kind of liked them at first but it only took a few weeks before the charge lost its longevity. It would charge up quickly, but then would only last a few hours.

So I got an eGo Spinner a couple of weeks ago. That seemed pretty cool. The first week a charge lasted a couple of days. Then it dropped off to about a day. The battery just went dead and is in the charger now, but that was after only about 3 hours of use.

I've experienced similar problems with the Volt cig-sized batteries. The only battery I haven't had problems with is Mistic, but I hate going to WalMart only to find out they don't have any cartridges in stock so I sort of gave up on those and haven't used them in a couple of months. They were, IMO every bit as good as the Volt cig-sized batteries.

I suspected my USB hub might not be performing as it should, but that doesn't explain the problem with the Infernos because I always have used a wall-wart to charge them in an effort to keep from mixing up all the different chargers and the USB port works fine for my mouse so I'm not convinced that is the issue although I think I will get a new one just to be sure.

I really don't understand what the problem is. My phone has a smaller battery than the VoltX2/Inferno/eGo Spinner and I've never had a problem with its battery life and it's nearly 3 years old. it's almost always plugged into a USB port on this laptop.

Is this normal for e-cig batteries? I'd like to settle on just one brand that I can use for a whole day while another one is charging. I realize the batteries can't last forever but the Inferno is only about 6 weeks old and the Spinner is only a couple of weeks old and already showing signs of dying.

I must resist going back to smoking.....I did have a cigarette the other night - the first since July and god it was awesome. They're so simple to just fire up and smoke...meanwhile I'm sitting here looking at the Volt and the Spinner in their chargers waiting for them to finish. The Inferno is freshly charged, but not giving good hits. The smaller Volts just don't give very good hits anymore.

At least the Volt X2 has a passthrough, but I think I like the Spinner better - that is when it's not in need of a charge.

Best bet is to get a powered 2.0 USB hub. A USB port is just 1.5, and can take almost twice as long to charge a battery.
The norm for Li Ion batteries is they are good for 300 charge cycles. If you are not getting that much service out of your batteries (plural), then I would question over discharge or over charging.

I no longer use ANY PV's that can be considdered "disposables" (when the battery goes south, you throw the whole PV away)
This is about the same size as your Spinner, but when it needs to be charged, you just swap out the battery and continue vaping, and when the batteries will no longer hold a charge, you just buy a couple of new $5 batteries.
