i filled a blank cart earlier, put it into the atomizer and all i'm getting is pure burnt plastic and barely any vapor, the cart is soaked. i had to fill it from the bottom of the cart.

The problem could be:
1: Its flooded
2: The polyfill is getting onto the coil (small fibers touching) and its burning it
3: The bridge of the atomizer may not be touching the wet polyfill causing your atty to vape dry.
I have been using cartridges for almost 3 years now and found these to be the common problems. I would also recommend replacing the pollyfill with Lipton pyramid tea bags (youtube it), they wick waaay faster and deliver better flavour.
Im sure someone will chime in and suggest that you buy a drip tip but if you want to continue with carts there will be a learning curve. I have tried every feeding system, tank, drip tip, cartomizer ect under the sun but much prefer cartridges, I am on the other hand convinced that Im the only ECF veteran who still uses them.

tried a different cart with same results. i know its not the atty vaping dry, it tastes EXACTLY like burnt filler. what the hell....

tried a different atty. its the atty doing something to make a wretched burning taste. i have to say, atty/cart setups are annoying. i wont be doing this one again.....
....what the Bum said...buying/using cartos is the single best thing you can do to improve your vaping experience......

sometimes attys come with yuky primer in them. I blow them out, then drip and vape without inhaling for a while to get the yuk out.
