I can't humanly possibly pick a favorite song in the world
but can tell you who my favorite guys are -- the ones I've been listening to literally since I was in the womb and they were blasting the airwaves that entire year (my mother said she was already quite sick to death of The Beatles well before I came along, little did she know what having me was gonna have in store for her)
this is very likely the very first song I literally ever heard -- literally (from within the womb!)
YouTube - The Beatles - I Want To Hold Your Hand
and I've never stopped (Beatles forever!)

I love everything of all of them whether solo or together (and in fact its easier to say which song is not my favorite, which would be be "Whats the new Mary Jane" I don't dislike it its just fairly steadily not my favorite)

and in fact I can even tell you which of these four great guys I always favored of them and even tell you two of my more often commonly considered favorites of his,
YouTube - John Lennon-Grow Old With Me
YouTube - John Lennon stand by me
but even this does not mean they are my all time favorites of all time of all music... that's just not possible there's so much out there, so many others not only from 'these guys' but from so many others too..

I think in sound, music, stuff is forever triggering me to swap to this or that song, like Lady Madonna I guess 'listens to the music playing in her head' at least there are some gadgets I don't need, 'I am my own ipod'

in fact if I'm really honest about it I've been fearful I might get 'told' for putting too many videos in my posts (I've been trying to keep it to a dull roar anyway)

Damn, Lisa..

I have engaged in expansive talks with a neighbor or two about how where we live is Hotel [Building's Name] and we've gone on as to who each character doing what is, who's 'got lots of pretty boys 'the nightman,' who's stabbing with the stealy knives' etc on and on..

and you've found the video for Hotel California that so help me God at the middle image (also repeated throughout the video looks exactly like the hallways here

that is really freaky.. really

Edit -- that Earth song is amazing. I had never heard that before.

It also makes the perfect statement about something I've been trying to say to some certain people on a certain topic for some time

One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands:

YouTube - Tool - Parabola

Favorite piece of classical music:

YouTube - Beethoven, Symphony No 7, II - Karajan, Berliner Phil

Soldier's Song by Demon Hunter is another favorite, and one of the heavier songs I like would be Progenies of the Great Apocalypse by Dimmu Borgir. But there are so many songs across so many genres that are really great.

I love that killswitch song. That and fixation on the darkness are my two favorites by them. (the DIO cover is good too)

My favorite killswitch song is Just barely breathing.

Yes the earth song is incredibly amazing and every time I watch it I cry because it really sums it all up, all of the pain that we humans are causing. What we are doing to ourselves, our animals and our earth home. It's incredibly sad and painful to watch, but it's also inspiring to see that, at the end, we can turn it around if we work together for the greater good. I"m glad you enjoyed it too! Please spread it around to everyone that you know. :)

YouTube - Michael Jackson - Earth song

Here is the link in case anyone else missed it and would like to watch it. It's a very powerful song and video and the message is so important.

Here are the lyrics:

"Earth Song"

What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain...
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores?

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

What have we done to the world
Look what we've done
What about all the peace
That you pledge your only son...
What about flowering fields
Is there a time
What about all the dreams
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the children dead from war
Did you ever stop to notice
The crying Earth the weeping shores

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
Although I know we've drifted far

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah
Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

Hey, what about yesterday
(What about us)
What about the seas
(What about us)
The heavens are falling down
(What about us)
I can't even breathe
(What about us)
What about apathy
(What about us)
I need you
(What about us)
What about nature's worth
(ooo, ooo)
It's our planet's womb
(What about us)
What about animals
(What about it)
We've turned kingdoms to dust
(What about us)
What about elephants
(What about us)
Have we lost their trust
(What about us)
What about crying whales
(What about us)
We're ravaging the seas
(What about us)
What about forest trails
(ooo, ooo)
Burnt despite our pleas
(What about us)
What about the holy land
(What about it)
Torn apart by creed
(What about us)
What about the common man
(What about us)
Can't we set him free
(What about us)
What about children dying
(What about us)
Can't you hear them cry
(What about us)
Where did we go wrong
(ooo, ooo)
Someone tell me why
(What about us)
What about babies
(What about it)
What about the days
(What about us)
What about all their joy
(What about us)
What about the man
(What about us)
What about the crying man
(What about us)
What about Abraham
(What was us)
What about death again
(ooo, ooo)
Do we give a damn
