I'm unemployed. Was a Spanish teacher and taught grades 2-12 in a small school but they decided to not grant me tenure... against the wishes of many teachers, the principal, the students and the parents. Hoping to get back into teaching this coming year. On the side I've been helping my brother fix up his house.

Oh man, the money is damn good. I'm over here in Louisiana, and I make enough money to pay for my bills only working 3 days a week. The degree is something I always promised myself, but there's a REALLY good chance it'll end up just being an expensive piece of paper on my wall.

I've always had ants in my pants, I get bored with ease, so I haven't been doing the same thing for more than 6-8 years (except for my 35 years non-stop smoking, and my 15 years marriage). At the end of the day what you do for work isn't who you are or make you any better or worse than other people, what you do as a person sums that up.
