Not a fan of the Protank2 mini, EVOD's but I think its the style not the tank itself. Having tried several bottom feeders, and dealt with leaks, gurgling, airy hits, these seem to be bottom feeder characteristics. So I have established that I like top feeders, and am really liking the low ohm Kanger Sunfires.

I think one of my Aspires has gurgled once. Other than that they've been flawless. My Kanger tanks leaked and gurgled all day long.

Thinking about getting a mini. What's the difference in the "static tip version over removable?"

The mini protank 2 with the static tip (some times referred as mini protank 2 V1) has a static drip tip in that it can't be removed. it is a permanent part of the upper assembly.

The mini protank 2 with the dynamic tip (sometimes referred as mini protank 2 V2) has a removable drip tip. You can customize it with any 510 driptip available. This means you can buy your own drip tip and use that. Some people don't like the taste of the metal or have a sensitivity, so they like to use their own drip tip.

I personally prefer the mini protank 2 V1 because I like the feel of the metal drip tip and don't like plastic drip tips. Also the static drip tip version has less parts that need to be sealed. If the v2 allowed the tank to be top filled, that would be one thing, but it doesn't. So less pieces parts for me is better.

And the v1 is cheaper. Thats a win-win in my book.

Just what it implies. The static tip is one piece metal and cannot be changed. Removable comes with a removable metal drip tip that can be changed to the dip tip of your choice.

Sorry, but wouldn't it be better to be able to remove the tip for cleaning purposes? (I've never heard it called a "static tip")

I agree the T2s are one of the best. I particularly like that they work on both my ego/510 and ego/808 devices. They are just soooo simple to use and fill and swap coils.

I have recently discovered eVods, and they are also rather flawless...no leaks, no fuss...and a nice draw. Not airy like most bcc types.

So those are my 2 favorites.

I like my EVOD's most and my Mini Protank 2 for tank cracker flavors. I don't like the metal tip. I also have a regular Protank 2 and iClear 16's. The regular Protank does gurgle when it gets low and it's top heavy on my eGo-C Twists. I get too many dry hits with the iClears 16 and it's a juice hog. I love how easy it is to fill the iClear 16, though. I'm going to try the mini Davide next. I prefer the smaller tanks because I change flavors often and carry 4-5 filled tanks with me. Some flavors don't age very well so there is less to dump.

I've used the Pro Tank, Pro Tank 2, and Pro Tank 3. I've also tried the iClear 30 and 30s. A few weeks ago I tried the Aspire BDC Vivi Nova style and liked it but had issues with gurling as well as problems getting the bottom off. But today, all that changed. Today I got my new AnyVape Davide 2013 that uses Aspire dual coils and Kangertech protank single coils. If this Davide was a woman, I think I'd ask it to marry me. Smooth vape, no gurgles, no leaks. I personally think this is the best clearomizer/glassomizer on the market.

It makes no difference. The entire thing comes apart. In this case the drip dip is just molded into the center air post. I can clean that as easily as a normal drip dip. Quick rinse with hot water. Roll up some TP in to a long "tube" and string it down the air post/drip tip from each side and it dries it completely out.

That, and I don't have to worry about a top seal between the center air post and the driptip because it's all one piece. One less o-ring to worry about.

Thx for all the info. So, it seems almost everyone is leaning towards the Mini PT II. I hope y'all are right 'cause I just ordered 2 of them!!
