i only know these names because my wife reads mags and i have a little brother and sister of 13 and 14. Being 30 in 8 months i too feel old when people speak of things that are in the "know" and i am in the "dumbass"
twilight = garbage. some of my friends liked it and i still to this day am trying to figure out why....
"Phantasm" - has to be the first horror movie I remember that truly terrified me at the time.
"Terror Trilogy" - this is an old flick with Karen Black. 3 stories. the one story with the voodoo doll coming to life...omg it still scares me.
"Prince of Darkness" - it has its moments
"Resident Evil" - The first one. I don't know why, but I just love it.
"alien" - wow, remember seeing that for the first time? Horrifying alien-exploding-from-the-stomach scene!
"Exorcist" - ok...this movie STILL scares me

Just seen a descent flick last night on Fearnet called "Gravedancers" Was much better than expected.

You seemed to have already mentioned mine, Hitcher, Rosemary's Baby,(yep, never having sex with satan) The Exorcist. (The Exorcist didn't scare me until I saw the real/non-TV version, that included curse words, that did it for me.)
But I wanted to ask if anyone has seen Centipede, or is it Human Centipede? DH wants to buy the bluray of this and the trailers look gross/scary, but I wonder if it's worth the actual purchase.
