Now, their are many model ecigs and accessories selling in the market, which models or type are the best for using and looking, what do you think?
I actually know this one! Cart omizer. A combination of an eliquid carttridge and an atomizer. I research a lotNo love for the Vision Spinner? It's an eGo twist clone with a better dial on it
Cartomizers are the predecessor to the clearomizer. I'm guessing the name is derived from the atomizer being in a "cartridge".
Hi friend, eGo T is the most popular and economical model, if add a clearomizer will be more better
What happened? Who was selling something? Luckily my loacations says Japan and not China or I would probably be 'moved along' tooThe best depends on different things - what size you feel comfortable with, where you will use it, how often you will use it...
The simplest set up is a small pv or slightly bigger ego size and some cartomizers.
Mini vivi novas are great for wanting to carry more juice in the delivery system than a single cartomizer holds.
There's a lot of choices. An Ego battery is about the size of a sharpie pen and will last longer before needing a recharge than a smaller cig size pv. Contrary to what some people say, there are some good cig size pvs out there now too - they can be very useful for certain workplaces or situations where you want to be discreet.
Here are the things to consider: . . . . . . . . . There are of course more advanced systems than this, but for the beginner this should be a good enough start.
Wow! I only now notice your post. The other day I was too fixated on the member who was 'moved along'.No love for the Vision Spinner? It's an eGo twist clone with a better dial on it
Here are the things to consider:
1) Form Factor
Some would probably prefer smallish devices, like an Joyetech E-roll or a Smokeless Image Volt, and may or may not be willing to deal with the tiny battery life, and working with cartomizers, or some kind of proprietary system for juice delivery as a tradeoff. Which leads to...
2) Battery style
The meat and potatoes of your e-cig is going to be the battery. Variable voltage being the popular choice, hence the eGo Twist recommendations. Batteries are either the whole of your PV or part of it, with advanced models having replaceable batteries inside a tube or box. Most batteries/mods have a button to "fire" it, while some of the smaller models have an "auto" feature, that fires when you take a drag.
Batteries are rated in mAh, or "milliampere hours". The higher the number in mAh, the longer the battery will hold a charge.
3) Delivery device
Popular amongst new vapers is the clearomizer. It's a fairly hassle-free system that involves the actual atomizer (the coil that turns your juice into vapor), a tank to hold the juice and a wicking system to wick the juice to the coil. The tanks are usually clear so you can see how much juice you have left. They are fairly easy to fill and maintain. Examples of popular clearomizers are the Vivi Nova, Stardust and Kanger.
Cartomizers are the predecessor to the clearomizer. I'm guessing the name is derived from the atomizer being in a "cartridge". This is what you'll likely see in the smaller cig-a-like units like the Volt. They don't have a "tank" like the clearomizers, where you can see the juice, and the wicking is done with a filler material. The trade-off is the slimmer profile.
All delivery devices will wear out, meaning the coil quits firing, or gets gunked up over time with normal use. Most clearomizers, like the Vivi Nova or the new Kangers have replaceable heads, so you can add a new coil and wick without replacing the whole unit.
Cartomizers, like what you find on the Volt, were intended to be disposable. When it starts to taste off, loses vapor production or just plain quits firing you replace the whole unit.
So back to variable voltage. Why is it popular? Well different devices are constructed with the atomizer coil having a different resistance in ohms. What this means to the average vaper is that some devices provide a more satisfying vape at different voltages based on this ohms resistance. Put a better way, if you try a new device, you can adjust the voltage on your battery to find a "sweet spot".
The smaller cig-a-like kits are usually a fixed voltage, with their matching delivery device being designed with that voltage in mind, but having variable voltage allows you further tweaking.
Having typed all of that.. let's look at two popular form factors and a couple brands for comparison sake:
Joyetech E-roll or Smokeless Image Volt:
Pros: Tiny, cig-a-like form factor. Easy to use/recharge. Stealthy
Cons: Puny battery life. E-Roll uses proprietary delivery system. Fixed voltage
eGo Twist or Vision Spinner battery paired with a Vivi Nova/Stardust/Kanger style clearomizer
Pros: Longer battery life. Better overall performance. Variable voltage. Batteries in different mAh ratings to choose from. Easy to use and recharge.
Cons: Much bigger than the cig-a-likes. Wire charging system not as elegant as the Personal charger system like on the E-Roll.
Now keep in mind this is a very tiny sample of popular brands and by no means an endorsement (except for my personal preference for the Spinner). Once you have an idea of what a clearmoizer is, what variable voltage does for you, and what a mAh rating is for etc. you can make a more educated choice. The brands I used are ones that are discussed a lot here on the forums in the two respective form factors.
There are of course more advanced systems than this, but for the beginner this should be a good enough start.
