If I may chime in here?
Please, if you are going to get a 510, get the Ego. The battery life is tremendously longer and you will have no need for a PCC (charger on the go). With 2 Ego bats charged you will make it all day and then some.
I have big bat mods, Chameleon, Precise, Little Sister, Bottom Fed juice Boxes and the like. I love them all. For a standard e-cig, the Ego battery is the longest running charge to date.

I think I might enjoy having the PPC, because I mainly vape while I drive, and I have a USB charger in my car. I figure charging the pack while I drive I will always have a good battery, also I will have a receptacle to carry the equipment with me instead of keeping the e-cig in my pocket. The smaller size of the 510 is also appealing, easier to handle on the go. Unfortunately I don't want the kids to see me "smoking", even though I'm vaping that's more than I want to explain to 7,8, and 10 year olds. So I appreciate the advice, but the 510 seems like a better choice for me right now.

You can carry the 'extras in a small camera case on your beltloop' if you are a guy, and fit in a small manicure case if a girl. If you put something to your lips, won't matter if it is a 510 or an Ego. It will be less evident that your are fiddling with 'stuff' when you don't have to charge the case and the batteries all day long.
The basic 510 will need to be charged 3-4 times a day. Been there done that. The Ego lasts close to all day. 2 batteries charged and ready for the day, no need for a charger. When you get home stick number one bat on for charging and you are set. No extra equipment needed. Also, the Ego does not have colored lights on the end, less noticeable to the kids. My grandson picked up on my 510 immediately, he was 3 at the time. Pretty blue light caught his attention.
Just trying to save you money and time in the long run.

I see these threads all the time: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...eed-something-little-better-battery-life.html
and that is with the mega 510 battery!

All I know is... the Rangers are in the World Series baby!!! They deserved it. Any smoker should be a fan of Josh Hamilton as they completely understand the power of addiction... Well, and he is clearly the best player in baseball. Size 15 shoe and runs like a deer and plays center field. Unheard of in the history of baseball...

Like they used to call him while a drug addict... he is "The Natural". Literally.

I'm from N.J. so I'm surrounded by a number of angry Yankees fans, but I love it. N.Y. teams have fair weather fans so congrats to you and your Rangers.

And just a side not anything is better than my Njoy Npro. I'm assuming comparing the Ego or 510 to the Npro I bought at 7/11 is like comparing a frozen dinner to a nice steak. No comparision.

I think the Njoy is a 4081. I forget and need to look (I am getting a bit old, my memory fades, lol). As far as nJoy goes it is FAR better than what used to be sold. The biggest issue with it is it won't last long... but while it lasts it isn't that bad...

I appreciate the advice. I have some things to think about for sure. Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction! I feel much more comfortable making a purchase after this conversation.

Here's yet another suggestion: For $10.95 at litecigusa.net, you could buy a KR808D-1 passthrough plus $7.95 for a box of 5 KR808D-1 Premium cartomizers plus $2 shipping, and at madvapes.com, about $6.99 for a 2amp DC to USB car adapter plus $3 shipping. Plus whatever liquid you'd like at whatever online juice site.. You'd never have to recharge any batteries because you wouldn't own any batteries. The passthroughs have no batteries.

If you ever vape in your house, you could buy a 2amp AC to USB wall charger for just under $10 at madvapes.com to use to plug in the above passthrough. (I have five of these now and never plug my PT into the computer.)

The total for all of the above would be $41 with the shipping fees.

I just received 2 of these PTs, and I'm getting the best throat hits (every single time), the most vapor, and the best flavor of all the other batteries and PTs I've tried. Haven't used any of my other batteries or PTs in the last three days since I received these PTs in the mail. It's gonna be hard to use the eGo when I leave the house, because throat hits with the eGo are hit and miss, and the flavor is just not there, like it is with these KR808D-1 PTs.

You can also get inexpensive USB extension cables at computer shops to lengthen the PT in your home -- or you can add AC extension cords. Mine will reach to the bathroom and almost to my kitchen.

Been there did that. In fact I had a post for the exact same idea. Unfortunately for me I do not like the taste a KR808 gives. Others do.

I don't believe you bought the KR808D-1 passthrough, right? Didn't you say you bought the battery? There could be a humongous difference between the two. Personally, I believe the KR8 Premium cartomizers are what's making the flavor come out so well. They are more loosely packed than the Boge 510 cartos (or the filler is a different kind), and I know for a fact that it helps to create more vapor, more flavor, and better, consistent, every-time throat hits (completely unlike the eGo).

Whatever you bought, the flavor is like it should be with my KR8 PTs. I love them and will probably use these forever.

Ya see, the passthrough is getting power from the 2amp wall adapter (and 2amp car adapter). That alone makes a huge difference, compared to getting power from a rechargable battery.

In fact, these PTs work so well (for the price), and I like them so much, that I'll be buying several more...a couple for my office and a few extras for backups.

I initially bought the PT and some carto's for the cheap option, as you suggested. Then I said...what the heck, and ordered the complete kit before I got it. It is likely just my preference as many like that model. I got it out again 2 days ago to try it again, still don't like it.

There are several things that bugged me about my kit, the first second.

1. If an analog size I see no use in getting a manual. I didn't notice when ordering. The ONLY purpose of getting a mini is the "natural thingy". If I wanted performance I would never have ordered a KR808 to begin with...

2. I do not like the taste of it. Others do.

3. The battery slides in and doesn't screw in to my charger. Not a big deal, but seemed like a cheap way to do it. Bad impression on me.

4. The pre-filled were almost too dreadful to even puff. I expect almost nothing from a pre-filled, but these were brutal.

5. The button is a bit of an effort to push. But again, I have no use for a mini that is a manual as it defeats the entire purpose of a mini, in my view. Possibly bugged me far more because of that.

Bottom line, I do not like the taste of it, or I would use it, even with all that said. Especially since my liquid is out and I am puffing Dekang - which is truly horrific, in my view.

What is the PT? Sorry I'm new.

But you're talking about the KR808D-1 battery, not the passthrough. There's a world of difference between the two. I'm not talking about the KR8 battery and haven't bought one and probably won't.

I also wasn't talking about prefilled cartomizers or rechargers. The passthrough is not a battery and needs no charger. The button on the KR808D-1 passthroughs I have are very easy to push...much easier than the 5V 510 PTs I bought from madvapes and much easier than the Volcano Magma passthroughs I've bought (both the old and new versions of the Volcano PTs).

The KR808D-1 PTs are powered from 2 amp adapters. Makes a big difference.

Did you buy the KR808D-1 Premium cartos? I still think they work better than the Boge 510 cartos.

I'm sorry I didn't see it. No offense I swear I'm not ignoring your posts, I'm just slow and all of this information is overwhelming.

My detailed message (#49) above contains the original suggestion to consider a passthrough.

TheBuss piped in and gave his review of the KR808D-1 battery starter kit, which is not the same as the passthrough I suggested to you. They are completely different.
