When you called it "the" Vintage Dutch Oak Cabinet I was hoping it could be ordered from Amazon or Sears or something (and maybe for a half-decent reasonable price). I'll have to haunt a few local auctions to find something as nice as that. I won't pay reproduction prices - I'd rather wait and get the real thing.![]()
When I first got it a guy said it looked like it was Victorian so that had me searching the Internet to try and find out as much as I could about it. It was made between 1900 and 1950 as far as I can tell and the reproductions have a much lighter color. I did find one authentic for sale but it was as expensive as the reproductions. It is apparently a popular item with it being available at a lot of sellers.
