What's your sweet spot?

So I'm really curious about other Buzz user's sweet spots for their juices. Maybe some folks have found spots for specific VG/PG percentages, flavors, etc. that others haven't tried yet. Well, post here with what you've found! I know this totally changes depending on if you're dripping or using carts or cartos, how old the carto/atty is, and so on, but I figure it would be fun to try other folk's sweet spots and see how they work
4.5v is a pretty darn good starting point with everything I think.

For darker juices I've been going with 4.3 to 4.1v

Lighter, I put it up to about 4.7 to 5.3

Specifically, a dark tobacco VG I like a lot I keep at 4.3v

For fruity flavors, I've found 4.8 to bring out a lot of flavor

This is all with cartos. I'm a carto junky, but I just got a new drip-tip and have some new attys on the way, so we'll see!


Question for Buzzkill - Would you mind folks on here naming specific juices? Example TV's AtomicCinnacide.

Most of the time I run between 4.5 - 5.0 volts BUT at times I kick it up to get a killer hit then after I am satisfied it is back down to that area/

Hmmm I didn't match it to the juice per se, but to the atty and juice combo. I use 4.6 with the 302 atty and my special coffee mix juice and 4.2 with the same juice and a Turbo Cartomizer.

I'm one of the heathens that doesn't use a multimeter. I just adjust the voltage up or down until it hits just right, and call it good.

Same here. I'm a Jedi and the Buzz is my vape-saber. I use the force to tell if I've got the voltage adjusted to the right spot. We Jedi don't need a multi-meter to detect a good hit.

I am glad to see people are just using their taste/TH to set it ! , I do that at the bar once in a while and put on a new carto and WHAMMMMM hammer. gotta turn it down again.

so it really is NOT that complicated

oh Vapornine turbo carts @ 4.7 v or so using TV tobacco juice 4mg/ml

My sweet spot is gonna be when I order the Buzz. I just have to justify another PV but the more I see about it the more Im finding the justification. I like to keep things at about 8 to 9 watts and I know it would be so easy with the Buzz. Read the ohms and adjust the Volts.

i was using my buzz for about a month without checking the voltage and i thought i was running pretty hi but my dad checked it for me today and i was at 3.8 i couldnt believe it, so i upped it to 4.16

Am I the only one who finds that you need to crank this high to get the right 'taste hit' from a 510 carto? I'm feeling like an oddball here. =]

hmmm i dont know, I am using 510 cartos on a chuck, I dont like it too much because i have to keep topping off to keep the carto wet at 6v,
plus it seems the cartos life is cut alot shorter when compared to using them on my joker.

when my "5v" joker was working i didnt have that problem and a carto would last a long time before i had to top off, now its been said that the joker isnt a 'real' 5v and thats its just a 6v device, but I could tell there was a difference between the joker and the chucks TH (on the same type of batterys fully charged).

So When i get my buzz (tomorrow hopefuly) and i just got 15 of the Boge cartos, (i had ordered the other kind the ones with brass connection, i believe the boge ones have sliver color connection) and my three bottles of juice,

ill let you know how it hits for me at 4.5v when i get it.

Boge at ~4.5 rock. I turned it up 2x turns from 4.5 for TastyFinger and it's SO GOOD! Not sure the voltage as I'm lazy and haven't dug the meter back out of the garage though lol

I read another member said that too. It doesn't make any sense because the Joker is putting out the same voltage as the Chuck.

now that you said that i remember one time when i was looking for batterys i went into a battery and watch store and the guy there checked the volt output on my joker and it was something like 6.54v, and each 3v batt read around 3.2v,

Heres how i compared them, back one day on my way to work, also back when my Joker was still working.

I used the same batterys that came with my joker
charged them (both sets) so they were both fully charged
Loaded them up (joker and my chuck)
had two 510 cartos and switch them back and forth between the devices
on one carto i had 24mg TV, tastyfinger
on the other i had no nic TV, atomic cinicide (however its spelled) co-oped.

the AC has a very warm sweet draw, with a spicey exhale,
on the Joker it was sweeter, nice and warm, I could also take a nice full draw into my mouth (about 3.5-4 seconds) and inhale with no problem.
on my chuck the draw was alot warmer, still sweet but the warmer vapor stole some of that sweetness, AND I COULDNT take a draw longer than 1.5-2 seconds because when i would inhale It was way to intence for me, so a shorter draw was easier to inhale when using the chuck, i also got a tiny hint of a chemical taste that i didnt get when on my Joker.

TF on the Joker was really good, but to me it tasted like the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup version of a butterfinger, the candy part of it was kinda creamy, (that flavor has grown on me, but after vaping over 60mls of it as my primary juice I NEED SOMETHING ELSE) TH was nice, not much to compare.
On the chuck this juice didnt taste as good as it did on my joker, creamyness was gone, (i think it just got burned up by higher voltage) and the flavor was more of the coco-ish flavor. TH was diffinitly there,

note, each carto had its own juice and i would switch them around.
