geez....i emailed tim, got shipping price and total to get it will be about $50 to me PLUS i still have to purchase a 510 atty. I just don't know if I can do this anymore.

And people wonder why I am so frustrated....

Whatagem, my products are for a life time. Its not a simple adapter like others. It will never fail. Dont look the money now, look the money you will pay later for a new one when the first fail, the anger when they will broke, and the waiting for the new one etc.

My adapter costs about 30 $. Its cost is like anyone else in the market with this little diference: It will live for ever:thumb:

I mean that with shipping to USA, total is close to fifty dollars. That is close to a day's work around here. I am just saying I do not really have it right now.

I wish I had looked more into the cost of e-cigs in general before I began. I thought it might help me quit smoking and save a pile of money. All the frustration with e-cigs is beginning to make me smoke more (ha ha)

I will figure it out I suppose. No need for me to drop my whining here

The exchange rate sucks for sure. Still, all in all, the $50 price tag equates to one carton of cigarettes or less. Well worth it to me to keep me off the analogs.

Yup, the transistion from analogs (through all my trials and errors) leading me finally to the GG cost me a LOT - yet, is priceless. Whatever it takes.

I pay about $23 for a carton of cigarettes. I have spent almost $700 on e-cig stuff (money raised by selling things on eBay). It is between my husband & I but I have been the guinea pig for the most part. And he isn't using his 901 anymore; been about a month since he's used it.

Even before the tax increase on cigarettes, I've been trying to quit smoking. I've tried so many times, so many diff things.

I do not understand how people on these forums seems to quit smoking almost effortlessly. Am I just not getting it?

Its a little dificult not to stop smoking with GG 6v. The hit is more than analogs with the right liquid, so I dont see a reason not to quit easily. Exept this, the taste is wonderful and not this discusting thing we used to smoke.

So nice taste, big hit and bigger smoke, what else whatagem? We are more than best:)

Gem... I've tried everything - EVERYTHING! Hypnosis, acupuncture, cold lazer therapy, Chantrix, Wellbutrin, nic patches, gum... I don't even want to think of the amount of money I've spent on that!

Nothing worked until I discovered the e-cig. I didn't stop analogs right away but I was down to less than 5 a day from 30+. And the 5 or so a day were just because I *thought* I wanted one. Once lighted it was nasty. Do I still think I want one? Yup, sometimes. But I'm now getting what I need from the GG. Wasn't quite getting it from whatever e-cig I was using before.

Yes, it's been an expensive road. I'd rather it wasn't.. One important thing to keep in mind, though - the e-cig is NOT a magic wand. One still has to exercise a certain amount of self control and will power. Only you can decide if it's for you and whether it's worth the expense.

yup, the Nano. I added it up....About $850 on e-cig stuff (husband would kill me if he knew how much) and I still need to buy a couple 510 attys after my purchase today. Yes I know cost vs health, etc etc. The whole e-cig thing/smoking cigs has me frustrated in so many ways I cannot even begin!

(Oh, and I've spent loads of money on other stuff as well. I also tried cold laser therapy....what a waste)

Gem, this road isnt an easy one, we all can vouch for that.

Giving up, is a mind set, and I know Imeo is going to say you need 6v, but I disagree, I did it with a simple 901...giving up nicotine is a different matter, that indeed may require a 6v.

But you dont need that now........you need your Nano working right and to give it that extra ooomph... you may find the 510 adapter will do the trick.

I have told you my quitting story before, so I wont go into that again.

Yes the road to quitting isnt cheap, but its a darn site cheaper if you use it right, that buying the dreaded weed.

So try this.......

Stop thinking about quitting, just stop that altogether, by doing that you are already telling your brain that you are deprived..ok

So tell yourself you are going to swop some of those cigarettes for vaping, a healthier alternative.

Then reduce your amount of cigarettes, and balance out with vaping.

So if you smoke 20 a day say, cut it to 10 and replace the other 10 with vapes.

And you can do that with what you already have.

Then once thats working........cut again.....

Try it you have all of us supporting you girl !!

On a good day, I can cut out my cigarettes by half and usually without even thinking about it or trying, really. I've probably mentioned this before but I was diagnosed with depression at the age of 14. I am not on medication, and while it's just as hard for "happy" people to quit smoking, I often fall into an I-don't-care attitude. That goes for smoking, cleaning, cooking, etc.

I had tried Wellbutrin but I never slept. The plan now is to get on an antidepressant and go from there....

Gem, dont worry, I have been there too, and I know the I-dont -care-attitude well.....very well.

If a person goes on a diet, the word diet instantly makes them feel deprived, and they fail. If that same person, thinks, hmm Im going to swop some meals for healthy living style meals...that person doesnt fail.

So, with this line of thought... the I-dont-care is a positive and not a negative, the key to depression is positivity.....replacing at least one negative thought with a positive.

And now I have given you one...lol, so continue with the replacement therapy, it works trust me and believe me Im not a happy person.........at all.
