Alright, got 510 adapter to work with Nano over the weekend & began to fool with it tonight. Figured I'd give this thing a fair enough chance.
It's not heating the atty.

I tried with a 901 atty--battery is good, hitting fine.

I screw on the adapter, snug but not too tight. I screw on 510 atty all way down untill holes are lined up with notches.

I drip 2.5 drops of liquid into atty.

Nothing. Even if it were dry, the atty should be warmed up, correct?
What am I doing wrong, please?

Also.....in the center on either side of adapter--rubber or glue?

For what it's worth Gem... I've had the same problem, however in my case, I found it to be that some of the attys I had wouldn't thread into the adapter. Others worked just fine. I tried them all on a regular 510 battery, and all of them fit fine. I think that the adapter is held to very close tolerances and as such, may not work with some batteries that are outside that tolerance. That's the only thing I can come up with.
As far as the stuff surrounding the center pin... it's some type of insulation to keep the center pin from contacting the outer case. Perfectly safe.
Hope this helps.:p

I couldn't get my 510 adapter to work with my GG. Since I was sending my GG back for the button retrofit, I sent the 510 adapter back as well so that Imeo can figure out what the scoop is.

My guess is, and Imeo seems to be thinking the same thing, is the center pin may be just a tad too short to make good contact.

I'm sure he'll sort it out for me. :)

I've had more problems with the button.. which even after getting 400 and 1200 sandpaper was still firing intermittently after 24 hours of a rub down. I'm still a little concerned about this...

I had similar problems too Vaugh with my GG, as did a couple of others of us. I think the button stem was just a touch too short.

Imeo had a fix for it but that was occurring at the same time as the recall so I sent that GG back to Imeo and I'm sure these new buttons will be better.

Thanks Mamu - yes, I remember reading about your button stem issues. My stem didn't look too short or feel too short and seemed like it would have some more way to travel in distance if the body of the GG wasn't in the way..

Hopefully, your'e on the button, so to speak, over the update..

As Imeo is not here to respond Gem, I would suggest your email Tim at info@smokejuice.co.uk, he will be able to assist more than we can regarding this.

I agree--contact Tim and let him know there's a problem. If I hadn't been sending my GG to Imeo anyway, I would have contacted Tim and let him tell me what to do.
