When did you decide to go mod?

Been vaping around a month or so, and LOVING it thus far. But the more I look online and research, the more I want. My little 510 doesn't seem as powerful as it once was. Brand new attys, fresh batteries and a usb passthru...I think I've already made my mind up to grab a Silver Bullet. (I haven't read one bad thing about it and it will still most of what I've accrued for my 510.)

My question for the wise ones:

When did you decide to go big? What advice would you have for a slightly dry behind the ear n00b for jumping into mod world? Is the SB too much for someone starting out? How can I keep my girlfriend from finding out?

Thanks!!!

I decided to go big when a short road trip turned into a long one and my 6 standard 510 batteries and PCC charger in the car could not keep up with my vaping. (Yeah, I qualify as a heavy vaper.)

Go with what you think will work for you in a mod, same advise I would give anyone. You like the looks of a SB and the battery life is near what you think you need and you can afford it, then it is the one for you.

It's not a V12 with twin turbo chargers with a 6-speed stick and you are not a new driver, so I doubt it would be too much for you.

Tell your girlfriend how she has improved your life, specifically-not-generally-be-very-specific, and how much she means to you. She could care less what you're vaping on after that.

    Somewhere between here and there
Definitely the battery life that did it for me. I got so sick of charging the 510 batteries so I checked out the modders forum and followed the tutorial on building a nicostick. I used that for a long time before ordering my first commercial mod. I would get something with a set up to run 3.7 and 6v just so you see what the difference is and whether you like the higher voltage. The SB I believe will fit an 18650 3.7v battery or two AW LifePO4 3v batteries.
