RDA When do YOU change your coils?

I clean the coil (including dry burning if needed) and rewick at least once a day, more often if I'm vaping a juice that gunks up coils quickly.

I typically replace the coil every three days or so. I buy my wire in bulk (100' and 250' spools), so I could build a new coil every day for at least a year or two.

I get bored and experiment with different coils a lot. I make them and put them in a little container for future use.

I can't vape on the same set up for more than two days - curiosity about other coils gets the better of me.

I prefer 2 or 3 strand twisted, or claptons.

Change the coil once or twice a week, change the wick once a day.

Only vape my DIY goose juice and i get through about 3-5ml per day. Currently using a UTA2 on an SX Mini M-Class at 350F, 34J. Build is 2 strands of 0.25mm ni200 twisted, 7 spaced wraps around a 3mm drill bit, wicked with Muji.

I re-wick every day, sometimes I let it go for 2 days but no longer cause I drip a lot of custard flavors which are coil gunkers. I wrap when ever I want to. Once a week, once a month, depends on what the coils look like.

I change my wick Daily. 4-8ml PD of NET juice. The coil gets changed mostly when I feel like something different or if I damage it during wick changes. Never, have, had a coil fail or wear-out from use.

Just want to get an idea of when YOU change your coils. Please include how many ml on a given day you vape and the device/build you are using.

ml/day = ridiculously huge... but I have so many juice bottles that I use in different mods that I don't keep track.
I change my coils when I feel like trying a new build, or when a coil burns out (which happens almost never).

i love to build .....so they get changed all the time.....i wish wire was like pop bottles and could recycle them for money!

When using nichrome i rebuild every week to week and a half, only because performance drops off so quick with nichrome builds. While using kanthal I can usually make it through a few wick swaps and have had a build last me almost a month before dropping off in performance.

I try to rewick every 2 to 3 tanks of my subtank (I go through about 1 to 2 tank loads on my subtank per day now), and put a new coil when ever it needs it. If I burn a wick (like the other day where one leg of the cotton ended up being bent up instead of down into the juice well) then I replace the coil as theres little to nothing I can do to get rid of that foul taste once it's been burnt, just changing the wick is not enough for me. Also note that I try to dry burn my coil at each wick change by heating it red hot then dunking it in a cup of water, this usually crystalizes and removes the burned on gunk if I do it regularly, if I don't do it then the coil will likely need to be changed more often.

I change my coils when I want a different vape. I could clean a coil(s) for a year but I get tired of a certain coil after a while so that's when I switch it up. I vape ~7 mls a day out of my copper plume veil and Pegasus mech.
