I'm an equipment operator for a logging outfit. Its a high-balling company which means its geared for high production. In a typical day, I have to find the right time in the 9-hour day where I can pull my lunchbox open (on the run, mind you) and grab a sandwich or drink of water. No lunch-break, no coffee-break, 9 hours of nonstop frantic production.
That said, I've been a smoker for 40 years. In the typical workday, I would normally smoke a pack and a half of smokes per day. Since my hands were always busy running controls, much or most of the time, those cigarettes were just hanging from my lips.
When I began vaping, I was curious just how many carts it would take to get me through a day. I began by carrying 4 extra carts. That is what I continue to carry after a month of cigarette-free vaping on the job.
The amazing thing(to me anyway) is that I have yet to use a second cart during the day. I don't deprive myself. I just take a couple hits when I want or need them, but make no effort to reduce my nicotine intake.
Most of that pack-and-a-half a day that I smoked previously went up in the air into second hand smoke which I suppose I ingested.
I actually considered myself a relatively heavy smoker, but I guess I wasn't actually taking in as much nicotine as I thought--just burning it up. I like being able to pamper my addiction with a bit of precision
.
FWIW, I am vaping 36 mg atomic cinnicide, but only one cart in a hard 9-hour day? I feel good about it.
