In the old days of 901 dry burning was an option to clean up the gunk inside the atty. But I think that everything with wicks in it, I´d rather air dry and keep spare heads to keep on vaping (last time I vaped 3 attys died on me 3 days running. I learned and keep plenty of spares).

"If it ain´t broke, don´t fix it" is my motto when it comes to clearomizers. I´m vaping relatively clear liquid, so until I see gunk at the bottom or change flavors I won´t clean it. Or should I do it once a week or whatever? I´m using eGo Vision clearomizers

As with most things e-cig, YMMV and Your Opinion May Vary too (YOMV).

However, I clean when it gets reduced performance... can be every other day, or once a week depending on the juice. Atty or carto.

I avoid dry burns except as a last resort. It stresses the coil and shortens the life. But if it's dead otherwise and can't be cleaned...then dry burn. It's an atty resurrection method.
