You can clean the wicks by rinsing them under some really hot water, or even soaking them in water, PGA, or vodka. A dry burn usually follows this step, although any time I attempted to dry burn a normal commercial clearo it never worked the way it was supposed to.

Your surest bet it to just swap out the wicks for new ones, but if that isn't an option, hot water rinse. Make sure it's air dry before you vape it.

No info about the clearo type?

Go to youtube and search for "dry burn (your clearo)". Watch more than one video to get different types of tips.

If you have wicks that go through the coil, the dry burn might as well be with the wicks in. If you have wicks laying on top of the coil you can pull those out and fire them with a lighter until they become white again.

Always rinse everthing after a dry burn.

You didn't say which clearomizer you were using but I think that cleaning the heads is basically all about the same with all of them. I use the Kanger T3S and I have a collection of about 12-14 heads. I clean them in a batch when I get down to the last few.

Here is my procedure that has been working like a charm without the need for rewicking.

Step 1: I drop the entire batch into a REALLY REALLY hot cup of water that was super heated in the microwave. Be careful with the hot water!!
Step 2: I then put them into my wife's ultrasonic jewelry cleaner using cheap vodka as the solution. I usually run them for several 5 minute cycles.
Step 3: Repeat step one. After the water cools a bit, I take them out and blow thru them while they are still warm and set the aside to air dry. Before I use them again, I do a dry burn for a few second and blow them out once more after the dry burn.

I wash out the clearomizer body itself simply by washing them out under hot tap water and letting them air dry.

Some folks may say that this whole procedure is probably overkill, but I have been recycling the same heads for several months now without any problems. The cleaned heads give me a vape like a brand new head.
